I always found it funny how the Wolverine Origins video game was actually better than the movie in every aspect.

Right? That game was so fun and so violent. Its very underrated sadly. Effort was actually put into that game.

Thanks Gaspar and Silrian! It's great seeing everyone's passion for the character! I have to give credit to excellent casting of Michael Fassbender for Magneto! It bummed me out that they cancelled the Magneto Origin movie for First Class. As soon as I saw him in "Inglourious Basterds," I thought he would be perfect for the role.

They could easily make a Magneto film with Fassbender. He's got the requisite charisma and chops to lead his own movie. As long as he can keep his Irish accent at bay anyway (which he didn't entirely in First Class)

People can whine about the height issue. But there will not a better actor to play the role than Jackman.

I'll take Connery voiced Bane over comic Bane anyday. He did a great job with the character, if you don't like his portrayal blame the writers, not him.

He is literary perfect for Wolverine, what is he possibly missing? It's also a plus that he's a soldier actor as well. I wanna make a petition to get him on board ASAP.

Silrian opened my eyes, when Hugh leaves, Hardy needs to take this role.

You gotta admit, darken his hair and Kurt Russell would have been perfect back in the day.

I could see that back then, he was in pretty good shape too then but no where near as massive as the Hugh.

It would be so weird seeing ensemble superhero cast in the 80s

I love Jackman as Wolverine, but by the time he retires from the role, he would have already played the character for more then 14 years. He did a great job, and DOFP is shaping up to be his best rendition as Wolverine yet, but no actor is ever irreplaceable in my eyes. Hugh did a good job, when he's done, let's see if someone can top his performance.

These characters will always be bigger than the actors playing them in my opinion. Hugh doesn't play a perfect Wolverine, but he's made the character his own, and for the Singer universe, he's awesome and really works well, but I'd welcome a more comic accurate Wolverine with a new actor as well, as long as the movie is awesome, and they find away to work in everything from the comics without making it cheesy.

Oh I missed the Tom Hardy suggestion! I'd like someone smaller, but I would love to see his take. Recalling "Bronson", I could see him being the "Let's go bub" Logan, I love. He could naturally switch between being solemn, comedic, and descending into a berserk fury mode, which Wolverine's known for. At the very least, like his other roles, he'd give it his all.

I think Hardy could work, sure. I don't know his age, though. Presumably they'll want someone they can get some mileage out of.

In terms of finding suited Hollywood star ------ definitely yes.
In terms of finding actor to play better Logan - absolutely not.

The voice was always something that split the fans. I for one thought it was awesome, but most people I know hated it.

X1 Hugh was similar to Kurt in EFNY. But from then on Hugh start adding mass, no reason Kurt couldn't do the same.
