Just got back and I have to be up for work in 3 hours, but man was this worth it. This was one of the my best experiences at the movies ever. With all the unwarranted bashing this movie took, I’m glad to see this came out exceeding expectations. Singer did an incredible job mixing up the action and drama, the pacing was perfect, and visually the movie looked outstanding. I was in awe watching Fassneto flying causing mayhem all over D.C.

This movie turned out to be the total opposite of everything the internet crybabies were saying about it.

- Singer did an outstanding job, easily in my top 5 best superhero flicks, hopefully he shut up all the crybabies who didn’t want him back in the directors chair.

- Quicksilver was awesome, and the bar has been set very high, the pressure is on Whedon now.

- Wolverine wasn’t the main character, like the interviews were saying all along.

Bring on Apocalypse!!!!

Just got back from the film, I really enjoyed it.

So whats everyones thoughts on...

Mystique taking Wolverine after he drowned, does he still have his adamantium claws? Does he not have to deal with Stryker at all?

I was thinking the same thing, I have no clue what they have in store for him.

Loved it!

The only things I had an issue with were:

Emma Frost being announced dead. I was really hoping she'd come back for a sequel. Also Banshee and Azazel. (I don't give a **** about Angel from First Class) and also Rogue having half a second of screentime smiling. Bryan Singer must HATE Anna Paquin... lol

Just saw this movie last night.

My oh my... the first X Men movie out of 7 films that i really liked.

There were things i liked about the trilogy and First Class, kept the good from both sides and put it in this movie.

I still prefer the Marvel Studios films, but this one i left the theater satisfied. Solid 8.5 for me.

Wonder if HT will still issue the Future Wolverine figure, considering the only one thing he harms in that suit is Kitty Pryde

I don't know if I ever need to see this movie again.

I guess if i'm in the mood to watch an angry dwarf walk around alot, then yeah.

Cap 2 and Godzilla i'm dying to watch again.

Hmmmmm....we must have watched two different movies. First, the Godzilla I watched was a one time viewing. The movie carried his name but he was rarely seen and the most interesting human character was killed early on. Secondly, Xmen wasn't about Wolverine as many feared which turned out fine and the dwarf wasn't angry. Well, he may be angry being a dwarf but his character wasn't angry :dunno..........:lol

Don't get me wrong, it was a good movie, BUT nothing in there that makes me want to revisit, like these

Cap's battles
Spiderman being Spiderman
Godzilla's battles

moot point, taking the wife :lol

It was a smart movie, but no memorable action set pieces

Good man.. Wolvie waking up in the 70's and getting out of the bed was a hit with gals that went with us.... :horror

Anyway, I agree WS is one of the best cbm to date IMO.....While I loved Garfield's Spidey and the heart of the relationships in the film I haven't been able to revisit spider either. Big G agree to disagree.

Enjoy another viewing of Hugh's ass.....:lol

Of course this is all opinionated but the QS scene smokes any action scene in Cap. I thought the action was great all around, most of the best stuff came from the future mutants and Fassneto.

Acting was indeed excellent, especially Fassbender and McAvoy, yet again.

Yes, QS was a fun character, well utilized and had a cool, almost too cute scene.

But nothing for me was as bad ass as the action from Cap 2.

I can't wait to see it! I heard Quicksilver stole the show from various people, which makes me glad, since so many hated on him previously.

Yeah, the QS scene is probably the one I'm most looking forward to seeing again. Never thought I'd say that prior to seeing the movie :lol but I'm happy I was proven wrong.

Some scenes were VERY violent! :clap

Especially in the final battle in the future. Colossus getting ripped apart, Sunspot getting his limbs cut off, Warpath getting his face blown off...

Awesome stuff.
