Just tell me one thing:
Are Cyclops and Jean in this movie? Cause that whole storyline or lack of in X-Men 3 was bull****!

Great review Batfan! I'm itching to see this again myself, unfortunately I have to wait until tomorrow.

It was a great build up of tension but I was waiting for that one single moment where I would jump up in the movie and yell **** YEAH!

But it never came.

At least I got to sit next to a dude who was dressed like Wolverine, X1 jacket, belt buckle and even the hair. :lol

Did he scream? Or cry? :lol Welcome back guys. Welcome back.

It was a kick a___ movie, what I expected it to be. No one dressed up at the theater last night but I sat next to one hell of a sweet nerdy lady...my dream girl haha. We're having "coffee" Sunday :)

Well I loved Magneto in First Class, so that's awesome! That was perfect casting. Ian McKellen always stole the show for me in the previous movies as well.

McKellen doesn't have much screen time, but he and Fassbender are in top form in this one. Fassbender was seriously menacing in this.

Excited by the positive reviews....I agree with them all. I don't know whether I can put above WS but it is damn close.....actually enjoyed Mags, Xavier and Logan's performance. ....slightly disappointed with Raven I didn't completely buy either side she was trying to support. Good thing the other cast picked her up......sentinels were bad ass as well regardless they didn't match comics...

He's an all around a great actor, plays any role perfectly but his Magneto is absolutely mint.

It really is. Personally I think he's the new Wolverine of the franchise. People are going to start paying big bucks to see Magneto now after this movie.

Screw a Gambit and Mystique spinoff, Fassneto needs his own film, whether it be an origin film, or a film about him recruiting mutants into the brotherhood. Fox needs to capitalize on Fassneto now!

Same here, I've been saying from the beginning I'm not happy with her as Mystique. Luckily she was mostly just doing action in this movie, not much dialogue from her.

Magneto better be the first figure reveal from HT. Both past and future head sculpts are a must! :impatient

Can't wait to see this. All the positive reviews in here is getting me even more hyped!

:exactly: on both fronts about solo films and her performance.

He was clearly a man of conviction, I'll give him that. To the very end, he stayed true to his cause. The thing that makes him such a compelling villain, though, is the fact that he's completely sympathetic. The humans drew first blood.

I thought this film was as good, if not better, than Winter Soldier also. I thought it had plenty of "great" moments, surrounded by a well written story, excellent cast, etc. It was definitely smarter and more adult than the majority of the Marvel Studio offerings. I would put this movie ahead of the Avengers.

Cannot wait for Apocalypse and Ultron now. I wonder if they are going to re-film or add new scenes for Quicksilver for Ultron as they have some serious competition now.

Also, for you comic X-Men fans who saw the movie...
Did anyone, other than me, think, for a brief moment, that they might throw a total curveball and have the history be rewritten into a "House of M" style timeline? When Magneto attacked and put out his call to the mutants, for a brief moment, I thought "holy ****, are they actually going there?"
