I agree, didn’t really like The Avengers either, but I know its widely recognized as great. DOFP has dethroned Cap 2 as superhero king this summer :yess:

I'd put maybe BB/IM1 over this, and that's after only one viewing. This is imo, at least as awesome time had as TDK, Spidey2, Watchmen, etc... definitely has more story depth and memorable shots than X2.

I'll say this 100%, the **** Quicksilver was doing is going to set a bar that people will watch other super speed heros with and have certain expectations. It's so impact full onscreen that it makes it seem ridiculous that every franchise hasn't been having them at the forefront (yes, I know everyone's putting them out now, but Singer beat them to the punch) This movie also had more superb performances in one movie than I can ever remember another having, it didn't hinge on one good actor. I will see this again, probably Monday morning and I'm already pumped for it.... I made a bad error and went for a drink refill while they were playing games chess, came back to Hank throttling Erik in the fountain, wtf? I ain't leaving my seat next time. :lol

So many possibilities at this point, gonna have a long ass wait to see who they use as Horsemen.

Maybe the deceased mutants that Trask experimented in the previous timeline? Only the new timeline versions of them. I'd love to see Archangel! Just throwing it out there.

You know that's right. Never liked Angel much, but always loved Archangel, especially when he rocked the Death mask. :rock

This is my favorite X-Men movie. I'd say I like it just as much as Iron Man 1 and Cap 2, my two favorite Marvel Studios films. I think it's better than a lot of the Marvel Studios movies like Iron Man 2/3, Thor 2, maybe even Avengers.

Wife has put in a request for X-Men movie marathon, all of them! :horror

I told her it will interrupt my Godzilla Thon. :lol

Tell her you will only watch the ones that are intact in the new timeline, that'll make it go much faster.

Origins is like the Star Wars PT to me... it had some really cool things, but soooooo overshadowed by horrible plot and horrid 'hey, let's throw another mutant in for no reason' syndrome.

I like your wife......minus someone who watches Godzilla marathons she has great taste :rotfl

She doesn't like anything Godzilla.

I'm on my own with that property although my son has taken a liking to it, more so than Superheros!

As long as he doesn't like sports i'm ok. :lol

Something about Goezilla really captures the imagination of kids.
