You're an X-Men fan but don't like the design of the Sentinel? Seems kind of odd considering how iconic it is. Beautiful design, IMO. And where'd you dig up that pic? Haven't read X-Men in a long while, but can't recall that design (no flesh coloured face or triangular chest light). It's kinda like you tried to pick the worst representation you could but the classic Sentinel design (say as represented on the 2011 SDCC MU exclusive) would've looked fantastic on the big screen. As for the movie design, it's pretty good but looks a little too Autobotish to me. Looking forward to seeing more, though.

I loved how Whilce Porticio used to draw those things... loved his X-Factor/X-Men run in general. No one drew Beast better.

Ah, got ya. Well, in that case Uncanny's right... that particular design of the Sentinel is weaker than the comics by far. Wish they'd kept the classic design for the movie but like someone else said perhaps there are various models depicted. Glad that they seem to be keeping the scale of the Sentinels huge (saw a guesstimate of 20') even though it'll mean no HT version of them down the line.

Nice to see this film start off with good posters. Would have liked to see some other characters but that concept only really works with those two. Too bad Rebecca Romijn isn't in this one
