Have a feeling I'll like this better than any of the other X-men movies personally. I could never care about any of the characters in the last 3 and was left waiting around for fight scenes.

Well on thing is for sure. January Jones looks just fine in the Emma Frost bra. Better than I would have expected.

I was pleasantly surprised by the trailer. I wouldn't be surprised if I enjoy this film more than Captain America. Probably because the hype isn't behind this like it is with CA.

Time will tell...I will say I'm still not completely into the roster of "X" they picked. I'll stay open minded about it though.

I wonder if X-Men First Class will be the surprise dark horse in the superhero movie pack this year. It's strange to go into a year in which my expectations for every superhero film is at average to low.

Ok, forgive me if this has been discussed, because I haven't been following this thread or news of this movie at all, but does X-Men: First Class totally scrap X-Men Origins: Wolverine in terms of continuity? For one thing, it looks like First Class takes place around the Cuban Missile Crisis which was in 1962. Origins used the accident at Three Mile Island as the guise for the mutant break out. That happened in 1979. Problem is, Emma Frost is a full grown woman in First Class, while in Origins she's a teenager / young adult.

I think the movie could be a good one as long as they make Charles Xavier and Magneto the central characters and their friendship and then conflict the main plot. If they do that and make all the other characters revolve around that plot, it might work. The thing that will kill it for me will be too many sub-plots of the other Mutants.

The trailer made it seem like the other mutants were involved with either The Hellfire Club or Charles and Erik directly but whether that is the case in the actual film is another story all together.

Okay. I'm not the biggest X-Men know it all but I do follow it and enjoy it very much. Can somebody please point out what all mutants we saw in the trailer just released. I know these of course. Professor X, Magneto, Mystique, Beast, Emma Frost. Who else?
