Matthew Vaughn is one of the best directors around at the moment. Kick-Ass, Layer Cake are some of my new favourite films... Some of you might end up eating your hats...

He could be the best director in the universe but it won't do a lick of good if the script is ____ty and based off the last two X-Men movies that is highly likely.

I got a slight Watchmen feel too. I actually dug the trailer. I'll probably be seeing this in theaters.

For a moment while watching the trailer it almost had me convinced that it was getting me hyped, but then I realized that it was probably only the cool guitar track being played and the quality that is Jame McAvoy and Michael Fassbender that's elevating it.

Still skeptical.
