Really liked X:FC. It will be the surprise hit of the many superhero movies coming out this year. Definitely better then Thor. If GL or Cap come out as well done, it will be a good year for comic books on film.
Finally got to putting Beast on screen Josh? Do you classify X3: The Last Stand as nonexistent too?
Oh yeah forgot about that.
I pretend parts of it don't exist.

I thought Thor was pretty good. The battle against the Ice Giants was great. But the battle against Destroyer was weak and there was a little too much hot guy without a t-shirt making eggs for Natalie Portman. Thor needed a little more punch for me.

FIRST CLASS WAS EPIC!
I really enjoyed the film. Not just a great comic book movie but a true film. Great story and character driven elements. Magneto and Proff X stuff is fantastic!! They could of made a whole other movie with just them 2!!!
Out of all the Xmen, besides the original, this one just feels so real, even with the crazy effects and stuff it had a real grounded story and it felt fresh. It was def Better than THOR IMO and the best of the year so far IMO. They need to make another one! BRAVO!

Totally agree! First Class was GLORIOUSLY AWESOME in every way possible. I loved Thor but this just took everything I loved about that film and moved it to the next level and then some. First Class never missed a beat, had pitch perfect story telling and character development from opening to end and gave you so much for your mind to absorb. It never devolved to the stupidity and ineptness of X-Men 3 or Wolverine but remained intelligent and utterly engaging. First Class is the best X-Men film to date even outshining X-2 which in my book coming in was and still is a classic of this genre and First Class rivals Spider-Man 2 as the best Marvel film we've seen. Totally awe struck by this film in every way I can think. It even brought me to tears a couple of times just like X-2. This is without a doubt the best X-Men film to date and the follow up (though a prequel/reboot) that we were all asking for after X-2. Go see it NOW!

Was blwon away at how good this was. Much better than I expected and possibly the best movie of the summer.
They did a great job and I would love to see another if it is done in the same style.

This is what the first X Men movie should of been. Serious, freaking serious acting. Somebody once said what do you expect? Godfather? YES!!! YES!!! I want a serious, well acted super heroe movie and I got it with this and DK, and a few others. I love Wolverine's part. That the Wolverine I grew up reading, not some sissy.

I loved it. I still give IM1 and Thor the edge as my fave Marvel movies but this was a really fun movie to watch and was light years beyond what I was expecting. McAvoy, Fassbender and Bacon were superb, the cameo scene was hilarious, and of course January Jones was hot and did good job as Emma. If HT makes some figures of these, I'm definitely gonna be tempted to get them especially Magneto and Emma.

I thought Thor was fun and it had great acting, but this is on another level because it had the entire package. And I loved that it was so emotionally moving: a few scenes with Erik and Charles almost made me tear up, as did a couple with Mystique.

Seriously, Mr. Footloose? Worst casting ever IMO, tell me you didn't laugh when he put the helmet on his head?
Everything else about the movie I loved, If they just would have found almost anyone else for his role it would have been a 10 for me.
This was a very good movie but didn't have the extreme "wow" for me that Thor had.

Kevin Bacon was great as Shaw. I thought the helmet looked stupid on Magneto too. It was always crooked.
