I'm happy to be an old timer gamer. . I dont need my damn game console to run my entertainment system. I just want to play games. Seems like it's the PS4 who is for the real gamers...not the other way around.

I'm only 31 but I'm happy to be an old timer as well.

Not sure if this was discussed, by what do you all think about Microsoft announcing the new model of the Xbox 360. Do you think by introducing a new 360 model that it will cannibalize sales of the Xbox One? Sony had that problem when the PS2 continued to out sale the PS3 well after the it's launch.

I apprecitate that games should still be made for current generation systems so you can still support the current install base, but should either MS or Sony continue to make the older systems once the next gen are available?

not sure if you are serious. the Xbox, Playstation, and WiiU are gamin consoles. so all of them are for real gamers. people arent complaining about the games that are going to be released for the systems, they are complaining about Xbox trying to dictate when you can play by the 24 hour check in thing and used game restrictions. if MS actually came out and said "we messed up and removing the restrictions" im pretty sure everyone would be back on xbox

That's crazy; as long as the PS4 vents well, I'm very happy with it, size and all


My PS3 still works, but it gives off a lot of heat and its fan is always in overdrive mode

One word ventilation. The PS4 is going to run HOT. We have some the micro Pcs for works and those suckers run hot and there aren't as powerful. Sure they are smaller but also have no optical drive either.

The whole backside of the pS3 is a vent; I am hoping it'll vent well

It's not much bigger than the PS3 and 360.

Yeah I don't see the big there. It's the same size as my Directv genie thing from the looks of it.
