I know what you mean, but personally I doubt Kojima had anything to do with it. This doesn't surprise me since I figured there was no way Konami would make it Sony exclusive in these days where a big budget game must sell over 6 million to meet publisher expectations.

As for what's been revealed so far, just more pandering to online multiplayer games, big yawn. And Dead Rising 3 looks as dull as ever, the most tension-free zombie game in existence lol.

Konami is well on their way to becoming Capcom.

DR3 looks alright, but it "looks" bland and stale. Not pleasing to look at.

Yeah good point, and I sense that too. It's really sad because both companies have some of my favorite franchises. Silent Hill already went the "more action, less atmosphere" route, ZoE is dead in the water, and I'm worried for MGS lately, even though I'm still excited about The Phantom Pain. Sutherland's addition just feels like a play for hype, something MGS never needed.

And I agree about DR3, I liked the first to some extent, but it needs to change things up a lot to get my interest again.

haha I reworded my post a bit, but what you quoted is unfortunately my first reaction lol. I suppose I needed that first trailer to blow me away, since I consider the console MGS trailers to be some of the best trailers ever made, but instead I found it a little lacking in terms of atmosphere. I honestly wish they showed the hospital again, because that stuff completely surprised me.

I agree. It was more of a gameplay, character exhibition trailer.
