I sure hope so. Just think, people went out and spent 60$ on colonial marines.

And the collector's editions of games are around 150$ for some games.

We will see another price bump in the next 5 years or so.

doubt it. I think that with the money that publisheres are about to start seeing from the used industry will moreor less take care of that.

This doesn't really affect me since I collect games, but say I buy watchdogs and want to sell it after playing, it's now the publishers right to deny or accept if they will allow their games to be sold used at GameStop etc...you can only give away your game to a friend who has been a friend on your account for 30 days. kinect is always on? Am I missing any of the new changes?

It was a weak conference.
Not enough to take away the bad taste left from the first one.
Witcher 3 is multi platform.
Titan is untested and Halo needs to recover it's multiplayer from it's last outing.

Microsoft released details of a premium "Day One" edition of the Xbox One and its E3 press conference. On the Amazon listing for the console, it's noted that, "Xbox One - Day One Console includes a limited edition controller, token code to unlock Day One achievement, premium packaging, and decal." There will also be exclusive DLC available for select games, including the following.

Ryse: Son of Rome - Exclusive multiplayer map and sword with bonus attributes.
Forza Motorsport 5 - Access to four cars tuned to the top of their class.
Kinect Sports Rivals - Exclusive sporting equipment that separates your Champion from the rest of the world.
Dead Rising 3 - Exclusive Frank West and Chuck Greene Tribute Packs with bonus attributes.

The premium edition will be available to those who reserve the console at "specific major retailers." It's going to be available in limited quantities, so the only way to guarantee it is by reserving one. Perhaps the most interesting element of this is that the addition of a Day One achievement means that Xbox One will now have system-level rewards available. The fact that these are no longer tied to games opens the floodgates of a myriad of strange opportunities for Achievement-hunters.

I know what you mean, but personally I doubt Kojima had anything to do with it. This doesn't surprise me since I figured there was no way Konami would make it Sony exclusive in these days where a big budget game must sell over 6 million to meet publisher expectations.

As for what's been revealed so far, just more pandering to fans of online multiplayer, big yawn. And Dead Rising 3 looks as dull as ever, the most tension-free zombie game in existence lol. I was hoping to see a reveal of the rumored Mirror's Edge 2 (although if it exists I really hope it's on PS4 as well), that would've been a huge surprise. Maybe there's a chance for later this week?
