Wonder how Bowen's Sentinel theme statue's like Cable and Banshee would look around this Big Guy since these are supposed to be 1/6? Or maybe even the Iron Studios Magneto Vs Sentinel?

Here's a quick video of the Sentinel Diorama at STGCC. I apologise for the poor quality footage, I was in a rush and there were just too many people crowding around it.

Thanks for the video. The only piece that I feel lacking is Psylocke ... not a good version of her and she seems out of place (like a last minute add on). All the other members are well integrated and they all look awesome!

if this had different xmen I would have bought it already. they need to make an avengers on this big.

If XM was proactive on this piece....well could read into the future decisions of Disney they would have strategic areas around or on the Sentinel to place additional highly desired pieces of X-Men. The pegs/holes could be hidden by small rocks or debris.

Meaning at a later date - create future characters that Disney would later approve. That way collectors of this piece could add and/or substitute pieces around the Sentinel.

Imagine a dozen X-Men surrounding the Sentinel. This piece would not only grow in value but add so much variation for every set to be different from every collector. Pieces could be sold as stand alone and / or added to the Sentinel piece. It's like forming Voltron or something. Whooa....Think of the possibilities.:lecture

That's actually a pretty darn good idea. They you'd have your own unique display.

This thing is amazing looking, but how in the heck does the average collector display it. It's not the height so much as the width that's killer.

I think the target of collectors is the same people who buy life size statues. That's the price point and amount of space needed for this piece... just because it's scaled in 1:6 doesn't mean it's aimed towards 1:6 collectors (who are in the exact opposite curve: low prices and minimum space required).
Now if they made this to be both a diorama and sold the standalone 1:6 characters, they could have tapped in both markets... would have been much better imho.

I've been debating buying this and having custome made pieces of other Xmen. but the cost is going to be insain for custom pieces for this piece.

To say the least. At this price point there should be no extra money thrown on it, period. Except for possible new swappable characters added by XM later on, at reasonable prices.
