Here are the measurements for General Grievous courtesy of Radd Titan. This was without his light sabers attached....

44 inches wide x 28 inches deep x 30 inches tall

To out it into perspective, XM's current largest statue is darkness. And thats 28"×17"×16"
No wonder they bumped up the price

The Darkness is a gorgeous piece too, though I don't care much for the character.

I need to see pics of Grievous.

That is one huge statue, with a price tag to match no doubt.

I am hearing $2000 SGD...and that's before shipping. Given his size I would expect shipping to be at least $500 SGD if not more.

I love grievous even though he was awful in the movies and the second clone wars cartoons (if only they kept him as awesome as he was in the original cartoon) and I own 4 statues of him...but even I have to take a step back, no matter how awesome the statue is.

I think high end star wars fans are much more "particular" than superhero statue collectors.

"Interpretations" generally don't sit well with most. Even the smallest "non-accurate" feature can result in endless banter.

The fact that a top tier character like fett is still readily available is telling. I am not so sure that any of these will be instant sell outs, especially given the price points, and the fact that SS star wars line (outside of maybe the first few) have been well crafted hits.

It will be interesting to see if these end up having edition sizes significantly less than 999.

:exactly: SW fans will look for more things on a collectible than comic book fans. Especially regarding accuracy.

Yeap. I think Fett looks too imagined rather than accurate.

Just saw the prototypes at indon comic con, except Grievous, and wana share my thoughts

Maul: its a diorama of him jumping off his bike in attack stance, fully in robe which flows in the wind, double lightsaber held high above his head, and facial expression of someone going into battle. Consist of maul, his large bike and sand as base.
Very large piece, face sculpt is akin to Ray Park(albeit not painted yet), and like this dynamic pose. Where SS Maul is calm and serious, this depicts a battle ready maul making his first strike without holding anything back

Pilot luke: shows luke in his rebel suit, looking into the distance on top of an ?x wing rubble as the base.
Looks nice, not for me

Yoda & luke: diorama of his training trying to levitate the rock while on 1 hand on balancing yoda on his leg, with tree roots and stalk behind them.
Sculpt is spot on for yoda and luke, very interested to see this painted especially if they can get the swamp feel to the base.

Vader set of three(fully painted): consist of three seperate statues, which can be displayed seperately. Infront is little Ani holding his podracing helmet, looking innocent yet troubled, on a sandy base.
At the back, its anakin and vader side by side. Anakin is in his robes, hooded, standing tall, only seeing his facial expression, somewhat like the SS PF and expression like in the scene of him marching into the temple, standing on top of a larvae base.
Last, its vader standing tall on a base structure like the one in the new vader PF
For me, this has got to be a pass, not only because of price, but i think both vader and anakin can be replaced with the SS or HT counterpart. Sculpt and paint are good, but still not worth it imo

Asked one of the owner, they will try to get it shown to public by next year, so have to be paitent and wait for more updates

Did you manage to get an idea of Pilot Luke's likeness of the face?
Thanks for the descriptions btw

Great descriptions, thanks! These are all most likely passes for me as I prefer the mixed media in 1/4 scale, but definitely anxious to see pictures! The Yoda/Luke training might be one to tempt though...

Recently purchased the HT 1/4 Boba and cant help but to compare it to the xm boba since both are rotj versions
For some reason having mix media on star wars piece really stands out

Yoda/luke was really a suprise for me, very well sculpted and i feel they really made the base feel like they were in degobah. If paint app is amazing i would be purchasing this

So it sounds like XM nailed all the likeness really good except maybe for Pilot Luke. Hopefully XM tweaks it more.... I'd be curious to get some opinions from Full Sculpt fans, as most of the reviews I've seen so far are from Mix Media fans... Personally I'm not a fan of Mix Media, so I have a feeling these statues will appeal to me a lot more then SS Mix Media versions.. Also from a collecting point of view, XM's low ES is a bonus compared to say SS Vader with a 7000 ES... ES is not the final say on whether or not I buy a statue but it does factor in...

The likeness on Pilot Luke looked fine to me. I'm planning to buy both Luke's.
