Statue XM Star Wars 1/4 Statues

Obviously it was a display showing the progression of Anakin Skywalker's life. From innocent little boy to evil villain.

obviously that was the intent, but the question still stands... why did they think this would be a worthy endeavor LMAO!!

I think it was a good idea, but they should have been on a single connected base to make it look like a cohesive piece instead of three separate statues next to each other. Plus they missed the mark on the sculpts of course.

Just because you wouldn't want something like that doesn't mean other people wouldn't. I agree with others that their execution missed the mark. As others have said they needed to tie in all the statues together in order to tell the story vs what they did which is 3 very static looking statues.

Absolutely agree. Some sort of "effect" to signify transformation would've brought everything together. It wouldn't save the bad sculpts, but would tell a visual story.

They are working on both teenage and boy anakin. The hood is being lowered and they are working on improving the skin tone for both.

I'm not offended, I'm just getting tired of you posting the same thing over and over. You don't like Anakin, we got it. You don't need to tell us every page.

I still can't figure out how XM decided little Annie was worth the time and energy. I'd love to have been a fly on the wall in the room to have heard the decision making process LOL!!

And I would buy this set if they fix the sculpts so there's one.

Curious who will be the first to upload a video of the two non-Vader parts of this trio meeting the fun end of a hammer or baseball bat. Not sure there will be much of a seller's market for them, might as well give them the send-off they deserve.

Totally worth it.

I pre-ordered this and had the option to cancel the purchase. I chose not to. I think Vader looks Excellent. Hayden mostly just needs the hood fixed. Little Anakin needs more detail in the portrait and a better paint job so he won't look like a little porcelain figurine. XM already stated all of this is being addressed. XM is a company that listens to the fans and actually tries to fix any piece's that have problems. This is Star Wars, I'm sure they know what's at stake for releasing such an awful statue set so early in the game. I have faith that they'll get it right with the final production pieces.

I hope you are right. I think it would be great to see this trio re-worked as you stated above. I already have the Anakin and Vader Sideshow Premium Formats but might actually snag a little Anakin from someone who buys the set and wants to part it out (assuming it is re-done from the prototype). The theme has a lot of cool potential...
