Dang, those pictures are really disappointing. Don't like either Anakin sculpt. Young Ani looks awful, worse than the original Luke like MYC said. Don't really care for the sculpted hood either. No way I would drop $2K on this. Does not give me hope for the Lukes they have planned. Why can't these statue companies just let Hot Toys do their head sculpts?

I'm not so confident now if they can nail darth mauls likeness after seeing how poor they are when it comes to an actors likeness. Coz its really either a ray park resemblance or fail.

Vader looks cool.. but I really dont like both Anakins.... likness is like Luke and Han from Sideshow 12 years ago !

I always wondered how adult Anakin would have looked had he been played by Elijah Wood. Thanks XM!

holy crap Christian Hadeson's head sculpt is as disastrous as his acting LOL!! and the sculpted hood is a total mess. Vader is a nice piece, but not as good as the Iron Studios piece IMO.

Not a fan of the sculpted cape but everything else seems perfect IMO... Wish SSC put out that pose.

Wait for the first XM Star Wars piece and then you can TRY to compare the Mythos line.

Gotta say, this post from 2 years ago (has it really been that long?) turned out to be completely accurate. It's true. There really is no comparison...

(Also, it's always fascinating to go back and read the earliest pages of long threads like these, with the benefit of hindsight.)

I prefer the XM fett to the mythos one so far :< A lot of ppl really like the mythos one and I have and it's great and all but it's not that good. Also the warping guns (including his ee3) bother me a lot. If XM can do good production on their fett I'd probably like it better. This set though is not very good, even regular vader himself :|

Those head sculpts look bad, Vader Looks good though but buying all three is not something I would do.
