I don't get why the concept is so hard for some to truly understand. When the lights in a statue stop working the resale value of it drops by what 1/3-1/2. It doesn't matter if the person who is buying it originally wanted no lights or if they wanted lights it becomes a broken/defective statue.

Not all are blessed with common sense. A mind is a terrible thing to waste.
