Wow! I'm trying to justify the price: 2 display modes: legs on the base and flight mode. In flight mode it stands a little taller at approximately 27" in height. ES of 999. Tough call, but it sure is sweet!

1600$ lol? No way get out of here. Way too much for this guy. Superb looking statue but that's just way too much money. I hope the classic doesn't go for that much.
It wont. Thats just the website raising the price becauae of demand.

I've only recently started noticing this statue and I admit that Iron Man looks awesome, but I find the base so ugly and it ruins the statue for me.
That's too bad.

This is truly one of those pieces that come out very rarely something different and stands out no matter what grails are next to it . I can understand collectors not liking the base. An environment base could have been EPIC. Personally I love the base but would love for xm studios to make another base and sell to customers who don't like the original

Yeah an environmental base would have been great, but I guess XM really wanted this type of flip base concept. Really it's one of those cases where the statue itself is so stunning, that the base barely matters. To me, at least.

If they did that I would probably jump on the chance to own this.
I could ignore it on the thanos base(the original rock one the were going to make) but I can't seem to with this piece.
I think it's coz the red of iron man and brown of the base don't go well together.
Well realistically what other colors could go with the base? Grey building, grey road...maybe some colored, beat up cars but yeah. Maybe a dead chitauri or something.
