This looks great, but I kind of feel like it's thunder got stolen by the long wait, and all the other great looking IronMan statues that have come out since this was shown

The Thunder will be back once they ship, If they match the work they did on their Iron Man 42 it will be worth the wait.... I've yet to see any paint application on a Iron Man that could match XM's IM 42... it's flawless... Although Iron Studios came pretty close....

Fact is that, none of the other armors being done lately is as popular as the MK7. The Iron Studio Mk43 is nice, but who really cares about the Mk43? Same for the MK2, 42 and IP by Sideshow, with their mediocre quality to boot.
When this comes out, IF the paint app is as good as it should, it's just going to put to shame any other IM on the market, plain and simple.

I saw the IS MK 43... It had an amazing paint app, it had a light up feature, and it was more dynamic then this one. The MK 7 is popular don't get me wrong, and this looks great, but it just isn't going to be as special when it comes out as would have been if they got it out there 2 years ago. The iron is kind of cold on this one.

Not even sure what the point is. It's completely sold out, pretty much impossible to come by at anything close to a decent price and it's probably the second/third most popular armor, those who got one are surely not going to regret their purchase. The iron could be cold but when this comes out people will scramble to get it the exact same way people still try to get the MK6 maquette even if the push from the movies is dead and buried.

I opted out on this one in favor of XM's Classic Iron-Man. The MK VII is a great piece ...but I really like the classic one. I have to say, tho ....if I can get this MK VII in the future for a great price, I'll probably get it.
