I feel the XM destroys the Sideshow BW. Hope this opens Sideshows eyes to providing more variety to their pieces. But I doubt that will happen.

Side by side comparison, both pieces look really great but XM's just bigger than the another.

BW XM statue stands approximately 46 cm tall (head to toe).

Does anyone know I if the third had has been confirmed or not? I really like this one, especially with the lamp/railing base but I am not a fan of the short hair portrait so I was holding out to see if the third, more realistic, head that they mentioned would be a reality or not.

True plus there's them Import charges etc as well

Definitely going to pick up XM's Wolverine & go from there. I'm definitely interested in there Magneto, Ant Man & Thanos as well but I'll see how much Wolverine will cost me in total 1st though.

It was bound to happy, SS sometimes boring poses and random QC issues have hurt them but given they were the only game in town people didn't have a choice if they wanted a 1:4 scale Marvel comic statue.. So I think were just seeing excitement of having another option although a pricey one for us in North America, also it seems XM being a new company is trying to cater to collectors wants with exciting poses and characters I don't think SS has any plans to make plus the promise of high QC...

It's more like xm is coming after SS, putting their statues right next to SS for comparison... Tbh I think it's not cool for them to do that, bit low class.

Was it actually XM doing that?

Looking at the BW's I don't think the XM version blows the SS piece away. I think it's a lot closer than some make out.
The tailoring on the SS BW looks really nice from what I've seen.
The HS's are debatable, I don't know which one I prefer most there.
I prefer the Base/Dio to the XM version, there gone the extra mile there & with the accessories

If I was a big BW fan I would be more than happy with either but if I had to choose one it would be the XM version. Just

Business tactic which just shows me their stuff isn't worth the premium.

Given SS leave it or take it attitude with customers in regards to horrible QC issues, I'm glad SS is getting competition, maybe they'll start fixing their QC problems
