Sure, but magneto has a much more stronger face und deeper lines. Bad light can destroy much more on a nearly smooth face. I hope for you guys he looks better as on this pics.

I don't think it is the paint job m8, but the shape that is throwing many, and lighting doesn't do anything for that.

I think also the fact that the left eyebrow is going at a completely different angle that makes the new head portrait look very off as well along with the revised facial structure (more angular less round like the original art and lack of cheek bone structure). They eye paint up is also lacking in makeup and detail which I'm sure the original head portrait would look just as bad if she didn't have mascara and eye shadow included.

Based on the pictures the only thing that looks just a little off is the mouth, they should of widen the lipstick a bit, the crease on both sides of mouth are too long IMO.

That said I still think it looks good....

Hmmm maybe I should not judge this based on the pics. But just by looking at the pics I think I like the previous one better. The new head is not bad but I wish the face is more rounded and there should be eyeshadow underneath her eyes.

I understand it's too late now to make any changes, it is what it is, overall I still think this is a great statue. The body is perfect.

Aw man! Sorry to say, I like the old long-haired portrait better, too. It's odd, but the bottom right pic (new portrait) looks distorted. Like as if the pic has been squeezed or something. As is, the cheeks and jaw bone structure looks off. It doesn't look like the artgerm drawing at all. I'm willing to wait as well for the old long-haired portrait.

Well, it seems the majority of us prefer the old long haired head sculpt to this new one. I hope XM takes note and is able to do something about it. I'd be more than willing to wait longer for the old long haired head sculpt.

Talk about a managing to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. The old one was a clear cut home run. This one isn't terrible, but it's not great either.

What a bummer. These things are too expensive (and too hard to get a hold of) to make an 11th hour change like that.

I'm sure there's an element of "too many chefs spoil the soup," but that's also the risk of waiting until the piece is almost ready to ship before showing a somewhat substantial change.

pointed chin, painted eyebrows, and there is no depth to the eyes( no eye lids) or cheek bones

I remember some people complaining about the first long haired portrait shown (I think this is on the XM website still). I don't remember anyone complaining about the second long haired portrait shown at the Singapore CC. Once I saw that head sculpt, I placed an order as she didn't look so anime-isn anymore. Now, people (myself included) are disappointed with the third version of the long haired portrait. It has gone back to an amine vibe. I think it looks too much like a china doll with the pointy chin, white skin and really long eye lashes. Not sure why it was ever modified. Perhaps Erick Sosa wanted to put his touch on most XM portraits? If so, with all due respect, I hope he can change it back.
