Might be too much for you and me, but someone out there definitely has enough coin to drop on a Magneto at those prices. Remember it only takes one... and when the realization sets in that there's quite possibly only 100 of these in the US sold then that desperation will get higher.

This is why I haven't pulled the trigger on one yet. I'm gaining more confidence in them with each statue they put out, but I'm just hesitant.
To me, sideshow is a no risk gamble. I win, or I draw.
But if I could get any of their current teased pieces, I'd buy this wolverine and cap. Haha

Exactly....the collecting world is much different than when Doom was released. For example, there are more social media outlets available now then when Doom was released. That means collectors have more opportunities to discuss a product or review WIP pictures months before it's release. IMHO this greatly enhances the demand for a product before it is even released.
