Not just bad paint apps either....

How about forgetting the Kenobi Mythos saber hilt....

Oh here is a $25 voucher for next time you let us screw you over

Savage, you should read the Mk 7 LSF thread. You'd better understand how it's a complete gamble ordering anything from them, and how it can be especially painful for international collectors who already are paying extraordinary rates just to get the products in hand and who end up getting shafted time and time again.

Here's the latest of many examples from that thread, and bear in mind this person is paying roughly $2,500 for the product only to be told this when they receive a crappy production piece:

So I got my replacement parts from SSC and they were worse than the originals. :slap

Full of scratches and paint chips and if there are magnets in the back piece you would never know it. I can't let go of it when I place it on the LSF, it won't hold at all. :gah:

Emailed them with pics and a video of the back piece an this was the response:

We’re sorry that your replacement parts arrived with issues. Unfortunately, due to limited nature of this piece, we found we do not have any replacements for this item. We apologize for the inconvenience and for any disappointment this may cause you.

If you would like to keep your Iron Man as is and keep the better of the two pieces with flaws, we can offer you a $200.00 Sideshow Collectibles credit that can be used on a future purchase. If there is something from our website that you are thinking about ordering, let us know the item number and we will book the order for you and apply this credit to that purchase. This offer is valid on any in-stock or preorder items listed in our online store. Please note however, if you accept the Sideshow Collectibles credit, the case will be closed and you will not be eligible for any further credits or an exchange on this item.

If neither of these options is satisfactory, you may decide to return your damaged item for a full refund.

I'm in Australia, so a return is not an option

That's just sad and remind us Worldwide buyers that if something goes wrong with a SS statue, we're screwed... especially for a $2k and in your case $2500... :(

Tavegg I am agree with you.

Thanks buddy. I appreciate it

I have to admit I laughed out loud at that...there was zero XM discussion at that point in time...kind of ironic how it was he who brought it up.

Yeah I couldn't make sense of it. I was literally scratching my head trying to figure out what I said to set him off. Then it hit me last night. He just doesn't like me!! :lol Oh well. I'm over it

Did you read it bro? :lol

I feel bad. I kind went after some random new guys 4th post to prove a point but it was pretty damn funny (Poor new guy is probably thinking what in the hell is he talking about?)

Lol. He's thinking "What the hell is an XM?"

Having hate for any studio in the collecting biz is just strange to me...like, how is it bad for collectors to have competition among the studios?

I can't give you a reputation point from tapatalk, so just imagine me doing that.

Tavegg is the unofficial face of xmstudios and regardless of what he says there 8s an underlining "xm can do it better!"
And they can.
