There will probably be custom headsculpts given how this is, minus the arm hair, so close to perfect.

Great review. The unmasked heads look better on wolverine than they do when photographed on their own.
I'll never see the back of the arms so I'm really not going to be concerned with it although it is a small knock.

The unmasked heads both look better in video than in pictures. In fact, I rank the same the way Josh did; 1.) unmasked screaming, 2.) masked and a very distant 3.) unmasked calm. I will never be displaying that head either. I do hope XM stops painting the hair on the arms going forward. It doesn't look like hair, it looks like dirt from far away and has the scaly look up close.

I'm ok with wolverine looking a little dirty.
One thing I didn't notice until the video review was that I think the sentinel eye would have looked better on the right hand. Makes more sense to me as an action pose, like he just dug it out with his right arm and reared back in feoricty, read to tackle the next threat. On the left arm it makes the pose more of a standing and showing off his 'kill' and waiting for something to come to him.
I still love it though and can't wait for Mark to contact me with mine.

That rating was a tad low IMO. The third head shouldn't count against the piece. It's a third freaking head!! The arm hair is the only thing I agree with that bothers me. I haven't gotten him yet but from that vid and kenny's pics, he's a solid 9/10 for me. And that's coming from someone who will never give a 10/10.

Agreed, he deducted quite a bit for a head he won't display. The arm hair knock I get, it will bother some way more than others. Since I only plan on displaying the masked portrait that's all I care about. The other 2 portraits can be sculpts of Homer Simpson and I wouldn't care since they're never leaving the box lol.

No disrespect to Josh ...but I do agree with you! That third head should not have deducted from his overall rating. It was just an extra that doesn't need to be displayed if one wishes. I also disagreed about the hooked nose. The arm hair ...ok, yea, one can only fix that with a repaint, so that deducts. But overall it looked great in his video. I would rate this XM Wolvie a 8.5/10. I'm even thinking it could 9/10.
I guess some people might be upset with the third head but what other statue do you know of that comes with 3 heads? I suppose they could have just left out that third head as an alternative. But they probably figured some people would want it so they included it. I won't display with the third head but it comes with 2 amazing heads...that's good enough for me for any statue. I can see some people nitpicking the monotooth but its really 2 teeth where the separating line just wasn't painted dark in some cases. Either way, that video has me more excited than ever to get this beast! Freakin love the metal claws and light up sentinel eyes!!
