Yeah I agree. This isn't proven to be true, but like with any new company, proceed with caution. I feel like even if this is them, they will redeem themselves like people say ARH have. Their products look great, business models are sound... I'm sure everything will work out great.

Unlicensed work and recasts are both naughty but one is much worse.
There's a few companies producing unlicensed pieces. You think AD have a Marvel & Predator licence?

I thought SS got their start by making unlicensed kits? Illegal is Illegal, not sure how someone can say one is worse then the other unless one is a hardcore fanboy of a certain company :)

If XM was making unlicensed Marvel statues then I wouldn't buy them, but they are licensed, they are legit so I will buy them....

OK there are 3 things here: 1) Is XenoMorph XM? The answer is a definite yes. It's not hard to find out. Ask anyone from Singapore or Malaysia. 2) Has Xenomorph done recast before... this I don't know. But it's possible. 3) Does it matter? It really depends on you!

If someone makes a statue or kit of a copy protected character for the purpose of making money, yes it's illegal. Now if your talking about modifying a statue you bought from a company that has a license to make it, then as far as I know it's fine..
 
That's my thing, not all work should require a license but its how you get started. Everyone has to start somewhere. Especially if a license is super expensive or exclusive how can someone passionate about it break into the industry? Everything is so regulated now its very hard to start a business without significant capital or backing and then most of the time its not your business anymore.

I assume your talking about starting a business.... Do what GG did and make a statue line that doesn't require a license like Honey Trap line.

If you talking about trying to get a job then you can make all the Batman and Superman statues you want and send them to SS or DC to get a job, you just can't sell them... Although most artist do anyways..
 
Even if the rumors are true that's not who XM is anymore. Everyone lies. People make mistakes. They obviously are now doing things on the up and up. That's good enough for me

I only care about having this glorious statue in my collection! I paid for a statue that has been nailed and is worthy of grail status! Everything XM has presented so far has been perfect!

Don't care to know the before or after :lol....

Have to agree I haven't seen anything I don't like yet even the hulk the second head makes it look great

Can't wait to start adding their stuff to my collection


This cap is instantly very iconic the pose is great
