I hope you're right, but I'm honestly not a huge fan of the Koto DD that Sosa did.

i really liked it..it was the base that i had a problem with

just take a look at his overall work over at Koto (Spidey and Magneto immediately come to mind)..excellent

can't wait to see the XM/Sosa 1/4 DD

Agree that the sculpt is excellent. I'm looking at it now.

I like some of his other stuff, but I walked into a local store with the intent to buy the DD several times, and each time I walked away without it...I can't say what I didn't like...it was just kind of "meh".

I'm surprised you guys didnt like Sosa's most recent DD release. I thought that was executed rather well.. .

Got to say Sosa being involved in XMs Marvel line and potentially the rest of their lines is quite exciting. A man of his talent creating 1/4 statues is going to be quite amazing.

Ya. First XM piece thst interested me. Been busy with my second kid being born a month premature and all so I am not on the net 24/7. A solicitation thst this was going up for preorder on x date would have been nice.

Thats hard man. My sister was born 3 months premature so I know it can be difficult. You can get on a few waitlists or wait for their next sure to be awesome piece; Thanos

I have put myself on the waitlist on Simply Toys. Dont know what are my chances in that waiting line. Hence wanting to see if someone is cancelling their PO if they have booked one which costs lesser.

Heard that many folks PO on Simply Toys and then were waiting for US retailers to list since shipping from Simply Toys is costly.

Am a sincere collector and not looking to pick this one to resell it. I am willing to send the coin to the US at no extra cost. I am looking to bring this piece to my collection.

I know how that feels. I was on a the boards for near a year before I started actually writing things and it was my Batman PO that got me onto it. Good luck on the Magneto bro.

Yep, my plan as well, any issues with the portraits and they can go to my local friendly neighbourhood dark spidey. Kevin told me he is planning a repaint of the unmasked portrait for his yesterday...so I suspect it would be easier to do a few en mass if they look too manga when they arrive lol...

Probably. Paint is tough for DD with his costume being all red.

Yeah Thanos isn't Near as popular as the Master of Magnetism. Collectors have been aching for a wicked Magneto statue and they seem to have gotten their wish

I think it's ridiculous to think Thanos won't sell out just as quick as this statue did. Thanos is a hot commodity right now with Guardians. Look at the previous Thanos statues, the Bowens sell at 1/6 scale for what $500-600? and the SSC Dio sells for over $1k now. If you are even remotely interested in this piece, do yourself a favor and be ready to purchase it day 1 otherwise you might be feeling what a lot of people are right now about missing out on this Mags piece.


But hey maybe i'll be wrong and you can call me out on it...but what if i'm right?
