to be fair the frog doesn't count and about half have yet to go on PO.

I guess I need to upgrade my phone, since I had no idea when this went on PO.
Is this how you guys (people who PO XM Magneto) go the PO, by email notification?

People that subscribed got some notification. However, if you are not in the contractual countries, they disregard your order. So it leaves you to find someone that can order it for you, or try your luck at resellers.

Issue is it can be little pricier if you went with someone, due to shipping and all, but more or less guaranteed.

Where the reseller could be cheaper, but very difficult to get an order if popular, like Cap and Mag.

Guys I had the opportunity to view this piece in person today. Sadly the shop was closed so I had to view it from the window. But my God, I have to say it looks amazing in person, pictures do not do him justice at all. Maybe its because all the pictures are of him zoomed in or like the earlier pictures he was taken from an angle from above. To be honest I was on the fence on this piece but I had placed an order just in case. But after seeing it in person? Man I'm keeping my pre-order for sure. Guys, do anything to track him down for retail, it'll be well worth you effort!

With XM piece, you don't need additional accessories. They come with so many switch out.

Sure, but my $200 for 2x sword hands still puts my deadpool a cool $200 or so cheaper than XM. I don't particularly care whether SS made the sword hands for me or not, because it's not my pissing match. I just care that I have a deadpoil that I think is amazing. I'm sure XM's will be totally amazing, but it will have to put SS's to shame for me to get a new deadpool as I just don't have the need or desire to have two 1/4 deadpools, despite my love of the character. My point is I don't look at my deadpool and think "man I need something better". He's pretty perfect. Excited to see what XM does with him.

I picked up the unmasked portrait and I feel the same...I'm pretty pleased with the SS Deadpool.

Not saying I won't be interested in XM's, there's a good chance I'll buy it...but yeah, I don't feel the need to slag on every piece SS has ever made just because XM might have one coming out.

Yeah the desire to just crap on all things SS is bizarre to me. I have nothing vested in either company. I can like something from both companies simultaneously and my world will still be quandary free.

I think some collectors miss the old days where it was such a rush on order day because there was a chance that you may miss out on the item if you weren't quick enough. It created a sense like you got something extra special, worthy of being called a collectible. The last piece for me was the EX version of the droids. I had a doctors appointment and of course it went up for po while I was in the office. I hit the waitlist hours after it sold out but I didn't get one. At least it kept me from collecting another line (for now). Now with the hit and miss QC and open ES part of the sense that we acquired something special is disappearing. XM for me is bringing part of that back. I collect these statues because I love them and truly enjoy my display but as a family man I have to be responsible and its a good feeling that if I ever had to sell these my hope would be to break even.

Bryan said thr upcoming list isnt in stone. Meaning if they get other people like phoenix again they will remove ones. Like Deadpool has been mad so if it was between cable or Deadpool they'd say go cable. But obviously it depends on the fan and which they want.

Just a thought, I don't recall ever having to pay $800 retail for a 1/4th statue yet and I don't think there would ever come the day that I would except for the two main lines I'm concentrating on. (aliens and predator) But after seeing this in person, I just have to say that I'm pretty sure this will be a grail and eventually when new collectors come into the picture I can see this piece going for a whole lot more. So for those of you that think $800 is a little too much, I think it would be a bargain compared to the prices it may eventually go for. Best to try and get it for retail now. I heard they do have some reserved for the upcoming toy convention in Singapore?

Definitely a grail especially considering the stop order on X Men. Their Captain America easily became the best statue in my collection of about 30 PF's. I have no doubt this is going to push even deeper into best all time statues.

Do I think it will be a grail piece? I believe it has the potential and will make my final call once it's in hand but I can just envision this!
