I think it's ridiculous to think Thanos won't sell out just as quick as this statue did. Thanos is a hot commodity right now with Guardians. Look at the previous Thanos statues, the Bowens sell at 1/6 scale for what $500-600? and the SSC Dio sells for over $1k now. If you are even remotely interested in this piece, do yourself a favor and be ready to purchase it day 1 otherwise you might be feeling what a lot of people are right now about missing out on this Mags piece.

i agree on that. bowen thanos is beautiful and he is popular marvel nemesis and appear almost in every marvel character story. thanos will be perfect companion for apocalypse

You have to pay to play, and honestly don't be dumb, the max ES on these status is 999, very similar to when sideshow was starting out and they had their Pre-Order Thursday madness. We veterans still remember those times when you are hitting refresh constantly waiting for PO to get up because a statue was likely to sell out in less than 2 minutes. Sideshow used to have edition sizes of 1000-1500 (total of exclusives and regulars). Now we're so used to seeing edition sizes in the 5000 and the statue not selling out, but with XM There are no exclusives it's just one run of 999 max. So if you want it, get your damn orders in and don't wait. If you can't afford the line then that's fine too, nobody's pressuring you to order these. Remember also these guys can't sell directly in the US so now us US buyers are on the other side of the coin like international collectors are with sideshow. We have to pay import fees and heavy shipping fees to get a chance to order and own some of the best marvel statues out there now. I am willing to support this company because they support us as fans but again not everyone can afford to do so so if you can't don't feel bad, don't stress out, and just admire from afar and live vicariously through our pictures

LMAO, this is a joke though, right? The Sideshow DC pieces have ES at 9500 in total, both Bats and WW and Supes had 7500 es. I would put 5000 es in the reasonable range but i have pssed on Bats and WW due to their idiotic "pump and dump" ES. When I see Harley PF Reg on ebay selling for under $300 it boils my blood. Flood the market and nothing is special anymore. When Sideshow gets back to quality and less greedy ES, I will take my money there. I will say they did amazing work on Supes tho, but for now I am headed to XM once they do a spidey piece. I also think friendly competition is great and I hope it brings SS back to their glory days.

Stongly disagree there. There was an EX of this piece on Ebay about 4-5 weeks ago in the UK that couldn't sell for weeks and weeks at £400 which is about $650. I know as I went to view it and nearly bought it. The final price it went for was £350 I believe ($580)

Im right down the street from the Ontario Mills Mall in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I've met many a cool peeps on this and SF. If you like Basketball and Football (Clippers & Washington Redskins (I hate this word and it should be changed) we can watch the games at Hooters.

I love all cultures and all peoples....even though Humans do stupid crap and piss me off at the same time....lol. If anyone is up for Interstellar (when it comes out), there is a huge IMAX we can check it out then eat at Famous Dave's BBQ.

So to answer your question....absolutely brother!!

Yes better poses can be done for DP, but when you add in spazzy's swords to DP, his options become truly awesome and the pose has that subtle powerful smugness that embodies deadpool.

With XM piece, you don't need additional accessories. They come with so many switch out.

agree on the comments on the koto dd being less than spectacular. I own it, as I am a DD statue completist, but it isn't in my top 5.

Also agree on nothing, other than maybe phoenix selling out as fast as magneto.

I like that it's going that way. I understand that this is a collecting hobby and some things raise in price over time, but there are other companies with smaller ES'. If people are in it soley to buy and sell for more. None of these companies force you to buy the statues. People buy them, might not like them, or want to flip them... And automatically expect more money.

This isn't a personal attack or anything. I'm just trying to say, the higher the ES the better in my eyes.

Congratulations to all who got this guy! I hate that I missed out. However, there will always be another statue to look forward to. As I have said before, I am not a huge fan of their Captain America or Hulk, but this guy looks incredible. I will enjoy him vicariously through everyone's pictures. It is too bad that Phoenix is on hold, that was the other statue that I wanted from XM.

Oh god not another ES debate. Learn the basics:

DC and SS just got a license. And a short one (before their recent renewal). So if you start with a bang (obviously being the trinity above all others), you would want people to still buy these even if the licesnes dies. I mean I just got into this game, and hell I'm glad they did cause now I can actually order a Supes and Bats even though I was late. That way I don't pay ******** eBay prices.

Jean has an ES of 750, so are you against or for SS at this point? Yup.


I don't care for ES. I buy what I like, whether the ES is 200 or 10000.

I like that XM said never above 999, why? Well because it shows they are dedicated to the quality, but **** you can also have quantity and quality hand in hand, (rare, but some pieces have done so well).


IN the end.....I have decided to keep widow. I still can't get into the fact that I could get a googly eye one, and I figure that in the time I get that and it custom, I could just get XM's lovely one.

Guys I had the opportunity to view this piece in person today. Sadly the shop was closed so I had to view it from the window. But my God, I have to say it looks amazing in person, pictures do not do him justice at all. Maybe its because all the pictures are of him zoomed in or like the earlier pictures he was taken from an angle from above. To be honest I was on the fence on this piece but I had placed an order just in case. But after seeing it in person? Man I'm keeping my pre-order for sure. Guys, do anything to track him down for retail, it'll be well worth you effort!
