So how are you guys going display him? I think next apoc would look awesome!

I think this piece needs to be displayed completely on his own.

Ideally I want to buy a marble column/pedestal that is just slightly bigger than Magneto's base and stick him in a nice corner of the living room.

Thanks for your response. To clarify most of us ask the retailer if we can order Magneto in Friday morning. They revert to tell us that they need to check and then confirm to us that order is secured. Only thing they cant guarantee is that if it comes with coin. You are right that there is only a handful of shop that order from you in Malaysia because there is only a few shop due to the relative small market here. Saying that the statue colector community here is small and retailers here run a higher risk in cancelling confirmed orders as they run the risk of losing these customer. The cancellation not only affected me but alot of other long time collectors and in a few shops. I can also say for certain that most if not all of the long time collecters has their order cancelled.

I m not going to send an email to you guys copying the retailer. As I mention you guys are to big to offend over here and the retailers here rely fully on you guys on their statue stock. By sending the email I will jepordise their business.

I have conversed with my colleague in charge of wholesales and he told me retailers only started putting in their orders from 12pm and have told them the statues will be allocated and quantity to be determined at a later stage after all orders came through and he did not CONFIRM any retailer's order as every retailer wanted to order high quantities. According to him, he feel there is a strong possibility the retailer had already collected deposits from his customers and when he could not get the quantities he had ordered, the easiest way to convey the message to his customers is "Simply Toys cancelled his confirmed order" when there was never a confirmed order, to appease his customers. It is not necessary for you to write to us and cc him but show him this post, I understand he is also in a tight position too. At our end, we are also trying to put out fire as many regular customers are asking us for the piece and please them because they have been a long time customers of ours. One even threatened us by writing to us this week that he will never buy from our shop again because we are not doing enough to find a piece to sell him. This Magneto is really giving us a lot of headaches. Life would have been easier if we have a TBD edition size and fulfill all orders like Sideshow's items. However you know this is not going to happen. Anyway, have a great weekend ahead!

Thanks for coming on the forum and stating the facts.
It was awesome of Simplytoys to decide to get the 5 magneto statues to collectors. It's a shame it caused such a S$#@ storm.

It seems that when it comes to the high end collector market, everything always causes a **** storm lol
 
BTW Guys, I can personally confirm that the Bundle offer isn't only a Simply Toys thing. This "offer" was extended to me by a US retailer as well. I was told that XM Studios will only offer additional allocations IF they order more of Hulk, BW or IM . My opinion, XM maybe isn't as innocent as we think...

To my knowledge SC can't order direct from XM they have to go thru retailers as well. So I think you are off here. It's possible the retailer they are buying from is making this demand and SC is passing it along as I would too if I were in their shoes.
 
Personally I really like yhe ST response. Its business and I think they are being just. I've always been a loyal customer and appreciate when companies honor that. All the hate is coming from people who missed this in the first place and most who missed did so because they were trying to save money. Thats on you. Now you want a break on an exceptionally hot item when you have no relationship or history with the company. You think the shop owner is really going to sell his to you. As someone who runs a business I would favor my repeats as well over a new customer demanding top shelf treatment.

I recently just finished my first computer build...and even though it has a Deadpool theme, i plan on putting Mags on top of it...he'll be almost eye level when i'm sitting at my desk

I recently just finished my first computer build...and even though it has a Deadpool theme, i plan on putting Mags on top of it...he'll be almost eye level when i'm sitting at my desk

We are very pleased to inform the previous batch of coins were all given out to repeat customers of XM Studios and now that we have 5 more coins, they are allocated to these 5 customers have made their first order XM Studios statue order with Simply Toys.

- the last piece sold online was sold at 6:14pm on 8th August 2014.
