I love that XM listens to fans, but they do need to take some care in doing so. Often a few ppl complain very loudly to serve their own bizarre neuroses that fewer still share.

They are obviously open to criticism, but I don't think you need to worry. They'll take the criticism that they agree with, and work with that. Not blindly do changes. If the various fans agree with the changes is a different matter, though.

True. I do trust them.

Sometimes I am just flabbergasted by the things that bother people. I saw a few of the "his foot is on the cape! How will he ever stand without tripping!!!" comments and it's just incredible the myopic spoon fed vision with which some people view things... To put it lightly

Agree. People can really be some pedantic. Sometimes, I'm impressed by the "flaws" that collectors report on new arrivals, and I can sometimes sit for minutes studying photos of these flaws, not seeing anything wrong at all.

Lol they're only pajamas of done wrong. Like the newer figures look great with the mixed media, the older ones not so much lol

I think part of what makes their statues amazing is how they have mastered texturing clothing with casting and paint. You can't control mixed media nearly as much. I am not anti mixed media. It looks great on some pieces and I'm sure XM would do it well. But I want to see them continuing to cast and expertly paint everything. I disagree "they could only get better". Putting in some mixed media could lead to loss of presence and charm. Not will lead to, but could. I feel no desire for them to incorporate mixed media.

That's true, there is always a level of control when it comes to the fully sculpted. Also.i don't think the mm takes away from charm and/or presence. If anything it can certainly add to and heighten the amount of presence of certain pieces (granted not all should be mm)

Singapore's climate is not ideal for mixed media, maybe that is the reason they went without, all 5 xm licensed countries have same climate.

Seriously you think that's why or because it's easier to just go fully sculpted. MM adds another level of QC and therefore more work in total for these guys

My Batman PF is at Spazzy's house getting converted into 100% sculpted.... he has a few projects ahead of mine but can't wait to see what he comes up with

I'm quite excited to see what he does. Though I think the way they sculpted it, it was meant to be mixed media. Either way I hope it looks awesome for you man

Hell NO! That's what SSC is for. Many of us have been dying for a 1/4 fully sculpted line. XM hits that sweet spot perfectly. Keep the PJs with SSC and let XM do what they do best.

Jeez touchy subject in here Lol. I just thought it'd be nice because of the level of quality they seem to be delivering I'd like it if they delved into mm because it think they'd put their own different twist on it and I'm sure most of you would be pleasantly surprised by what they deliver

Mix media look nice but then the fabric easily gets dirty or look dusty, etc. Captain A PF, the white and blue look pretty horrible. I much prefer painted like XM, dust on it, just dust off and look brand new again.

IMO the older mm PFs look sorta ****. They literally look like they're wearing pyjamas (except maybe the Thor PF) but I can appreciate the dust concern.

Is it adjusted? Looks to me like it just hasn't had the insides cut out (or maybe it's a paint illusion) so that it's not resting directly against the skin.

It is adjusted, most definitely. It's now cast as a single piece with the head instead of two pieces, eliminating the gaps between the forehead and the helmet. It fits perfectly now.

I can't believe these dudes at XM taking it to the next level. They easily could have left it as-is...it sold out in hours after all. But they took a good helmet and made it glorious!
