I actually think the Galactus Maquette is pretty friggin magnificent and I feel no need to replace it. Of course, XM would knock it out of the park and make me want to buy it. I would love the rest of the Heralds though! I would go for Terrax and Morg first, then Firelord.

Hey right there with you SurlyJ. I wouldn't care which herald was made first. DO Nova first for all I care? There is room for another female in XM's heavily dominated male Marvel line so far.

I was super unimpressed with Galactus when I saw him in person. I was all ready to buy him then I saw him and he didnt quite feel up to par for 800. Had a few qc issues and had 2 bases come to fix on of the issue but it never did.

I agree ss is nice enough. I do think there is a big gap exist with the marvel space u. Aside from the heralds would love and willing to drop money on characters like Nova, Ronan, Klurt, Annhilus etc. I think the gog movie will b hopeful in promoting that world. How about comic gamorra

Agreed I want an entire cosmic line up. Give me all the characters from Dan Abnett's cosmic run please!

Definitely a gap. The Bowen's aren't my favorite for Nova and Annihilus. I think it's kind of strange that we have a Great Ultron PF but not much else cosmic outside of Galactus, Thanos and Silver Surfer. Nova and Ronan would be great. A Gladiator has tons of potential too. An XM Adam Warlock... be still.

Thanks for mentioning these characters. That would lead me to say....I have been thinking about XM making Galactus and all his Heralds...starting with Firelord!!!

Except I'd start with Nova and Silver Surfer. Curious to see what XM would do for the Surfer. As for Nova ...well ...she's HOT ...nuff sed.

I figured. I don't care for that stuff really. Not huge on diorama and I don't like loose parts sitting around. Stuff built into the base is cool, but extraneous pieces, while they can look great if displayed well, just aren't my thing. Still, and interesting idea and I love any efforts towards innovation!

I think part of what makes their statues amazing is how they have mastered texturing clothing with casting and paint. You can't control mixed media nearly as much. I am not anti mixed media. It looks great on some pieces and I'm sure XM would do it well. But I want to see them continuing to cast and expertly paint everything. I disagree "they could only get better". Putting in some mixed media could lead to loss of presence and charm. Not will lead to, but could. I feel no desire for them to incorporate mixed media.

I'm defiantly not a fan of mix media... If I want doll clothes I'll buy a doll.... well I actually do buy dolls with my 1:6 scale Star Wars figure collection but I don't want doll clothes on my statues..... The whole point of a statue is admiring the art of the sculpture, covering it all up with fabric just kills the artistic nature of the statue.

Besides that's why you have Sideshow they make the majority of their statues with clothes on them...

Singapore's climate is not ideal for mixed media, maybe that is the reason they went without, all 5 xm licensed countries have same climate.

The new comic Hellboy is great example of mix media well done... and still display a great sculpt.

I love mixed media (done right) but I'm totally fine with XM just doing fully sculpted.
