Yup, this is an awesome Magneto. That said, I don't care much for awards. I know what I like.
It's just like the Oscars and other movie awards... the winners aren't always my favorite, but it's not going to make me enjoy my pick any less.

Stop showing off wolf-brother, we get it you're Richie Rich. :D Congrats mate they look great.

Is it true, there is recast of the XM Magneto? Has anyone seen one and can you distinguish the difference?

I think someone posted fotos a while back. They look pretty similar from a distance

They look very very similar from a distance. The only way to truly know for sure is to demand pics showing the packaging and say a current newspaper. There is also a code for authentication. I am going to be honest though... XM is set up in the middle of the recasters triangle... this is going to continue to happen.

One thing the XM Magneto has that will help it hold its price is, if XM Studios stays competitive in the statue market, the Magneto is, well, you might say it is akin to a sports players rookie card or the first appearance of a superhero in a comic. It's XM's "rookie card"

Therefore it will "fit" in any XM collectors collection, I think. And well...it's brilliant to boot.

For me, I took the first plunge on the XM Captain America, it was expensive, I think all in about $800 but I really needed a Cap in my collection and everyone was asking like 1.5 to 2k for the OG SS Cap so it made sense to me. When I received Cap, the box, the packaging, the sculpt, paint apps, execution were all mind blowing. I was so happy. When word of Magneto came out I didn't hesitate to let me guy know I wanted that piece too, then BAM, a hurricane of interest hit XM and I ended up being one of the "fortunate ones" who the shop promised a Magneto to for like $800. After that, everything became complicated with XM. So for me, it all started with the craftsmanship and experience I had with the Cap piece

Ah.... By tomorrow night XM Magneto will rest on the dresser in my room along with my 2 other Grails. And yea, Batman is there. That one spot is reserved for new statues. Hopefully soon to be occupied by Spider-man PF. Diablo 3 Overthrown is my other Grail but it doesn't display well at that location. And Logan custom too. So, 5 Grails including magneto. That's 4 too many, I know.

Eh, on second thought, Punisher Comiquette takes the cake.
