I'll reserve my judgement until I see the final result regarding the helmet. I really don't see much of a difference with the exception of the side panels resting against his face and that may be sculpted out in the end. I can say that I have confidence in XM so there is no panic here. They seem to know how to get things right.

If that happens the easy solution would be to include both versions of the helmet head.

Thanks...man! One thing XM has brought to the market is excitement...I can't remember a time where so many forum members were excited about a statue. I don't think I have ever used the word "grail" before...but this statue has a chance to achieve grail status.

I totally feel you on Mags. I missed out on the PO completely when Mags went up for PO. On top of that, the same weekend he went up, I had an out of town vacation planned with the family. NO internet service where we were at. I couldn't believe the timing. Thankfully, a great friend and forum member here hooked me up. He let me have an extra Mags he had, at his cost. I was floored by his generosity. Like you though, I'm very anxious to get him in my hands. It all feels a little surreal until I have him displayed in my collection. I know I have nothing to worry about. I'm dealing with peeps I know and they have stellar reps. However, Mags will literally be my 1st XM piece and I can't wait to get that experience under my belt. Congrats on scoring Mags tray. I understand your excitement and anxiety.

Even if it ends up looking glued to his head? The fit does look fine, but it better not look like it is one piece. I really liked that it actually looked like a separate thing sitting on his head. I don't want it to look like it is simply one with his face.

Paint should fix it up but I'm a bit disappointed for now.

Looks like I just scored a pre-order on this masterpiece...I know a guy, who knows a guy, who is second cousin of a guy, that is best friends with another guy.

I was told this may be one of two last possible pre-orders for Magneto on the planet...and it was part of a two statue bundle with Black Widow. So this morning myself and another fellow collector are very happy individuals.

I am excited, yet cautiously optimistic. No celebrating for me until I have the actual piece in my mutant loving hands...

That is a huge score, big grats on that find. I hear you on containing your excitement but it must feel good knowing you have one on the way.

Exactly. It's a different feeling. You know you are part of an exclusive club and that club cares about what they are delivering to us. I love everything about the XM philosophy. Great statues, fully sculpted, low ES, make changes based on feedback, and they all appear excited in what they are doing....I'm loving it!

It won't. All they have to do is add a thin black line along the inside edge, and voila, separation. Who knows, maybe they'll even add a small groove there.

The fit in the top half of the helmet is much, much better. The cheek guards now cover the corners of his mouth, which is consistent with how he is drawn.

I wouldn't worry about it, bro...it'll look great.

But fact is head and helmet were separated, which they are now not. Regardless what they do, it will never be separate if casted in one piece. It looked mighty fine, why change it.
