What I said was the focal length of the camera looked off for the close ups. Hmmm...someone doesn't pay attention. The closeups just need to be reshot with zoom from a proper distance me thinks.

I think what they did was take the original/PO head and change the hair after they changed the bird position. It looks like the new hair has taken some of her forehead away. They keep saying it's the PO head because it is with a new wig placed on it.

those two pics above, arent they both at first PO stages? Before the bird was made of resin and moved? One is just painted and the other not. Same stages but different hair?
Im pretty sure that pic of no paint app is before the bird got moved. And the painted one also was before then... yet different hair?
Yeah XM are saying all 3 pictures are the same head sculpt/face but the hair has been changed on this version to make sure it doesn't hit the bird.
So every picture you see from proto to now is the same face but with a different wig.
Nothing will be getting changed now. It's all this pissing about with it that has all this going on now. I've never spoken about hair as much in my life as i have today.

So they're saying this head is the same as above.
It is the same Headsculpt, but they lost volume from the top of the hair do, and the paint isn't the same as it was before. This looks like it will be the first time XM doesn't have a production piece that doesn't live up to the promos of the proto... At least IMHO.

Nothing should get changed if people want this to come out, and any NA collectors want to see her, but it does boild own to what many have been saying. When you have a generally well loved product don't **** with it to much.
Yeah on the full statue shot it looks good. It's a distance shot though. Maybe it's like the SSC Iron Man line where you need to be away from it to look good.

How about read a bit further back. I think you should be able to get close to the statues and them still look good. That was what my top comment was aimed at. XM or SSC it better look good no matter how close or far away i am.

I really hate how they've completely simplified the paint job on her face compared to the proto. Look at the eyebrows, they're just one paint brush line now.
I would agree with Spidey that if this is what we're getting in the paint department, then this falls way short of the proto. And the shortened forehead/back of the head is really noticeable to.
I don't even know if I'm getting anything XM at this point, but I hope I'm happier with this is person than I am with these pics.

I really don't believe that the prototype head is the same as can be seen on those recent images. The volume of the hair is not there. The top of her haid looks too flat. But I've been saying that over and over. It's incomprehensible how people can see this so differently. The other heads looks strange too. Lifeless and doll-like.
No, I think we all have been saying this...SAME HEAD, DIFFERENT HAIR. People are saying the actual face sculpt is different WHICH IT IS NOT. The hair does appear to be a bit flatter in the latest rendition but I also think the pic everyone is using has a strange angle and focal length. Once you look at photos from a proper distance, it looks better. AGAIN, not saying it shouldn't look good close up, I'm saying you need PROPER closeup photos. I'm pretty damn happy with the latest heads and am ready for this to ship
