If it's a better finish or not is probably arguable, both have smooth surfaces but CCP does seem to give statues a more shiny look vs. polystone which has more of a rough stone look (less shine)...

Thanks RB. I think it's a great looking Cap. Magneto will be a definite for me as it appears to be a truly epic definitive representation of him. If Wolverine were brown I would surely consider getting it as I really want a 1:4 brown. The only thing I don't like and I hope they change is the unmasked portrait. If it looked like this Eric Sosa portrait I would be all in. I hope you read this XM and fix that unmasked portrait!

Yeah I really like what I've seen of there Magneto. I've got so much on order but I'll definitely try & get it. If it's the same price of Caps I'll definitely pick it up

I echo all your sentiments; the head as I said when I first saw it looked off, that one looks mint..and yes a gambit would be freaking sweet, I hope they do that next!

I'm impressed with the XM execution so far for CA, BW, Wolverine and especially Magneto. From what I have seen for their upcoming Iron Man mark VII they are staying on point. I like the fact that they take collectors comments as a venue for improvement instead of relegating it to unfair criticism and then make positive changes to their product. If their QC follows their packaging we are in for some tasty treats and I'm ready to eat!
Magneto sitting on the Sentinel hand throne looks awesome. I'm not a statue collector but glad to see that there are other options for those that do collect them

Wow Wolf Bro, that Wolvie looks damn good. Let me check if the XM boys can work something out... no promises as we have to be sensitive when we work with current artists.

Seriously.... I even came close to pulling the trigger on their IM after seeing the updated portraits. These guys are on a mission. Everything they have teased is a probable buy with the exception of Hawkeye. The Magneto, Thor, Wolverine..... They all look great. Captain will be the test though as he's already paid for. If he shows up and wows me like I feel like he's going to its all over man. Mine as well hit the streets and with a sign that reads will work for xm studios statues

Dude seriously. I feel like I have a car payment coming out of my bank account weekly now. Black Widow hit then Harley. Superman is coming. Gladiator Hulk isn't to far away.
