FFG DC Comics Wonder Woman Variant Resin Statue - EE Exc. - Yamato USA - Wonder Woman - Statues at Entertainment Earth

She's up for pre-order due for release in March. Everything I had an issue with has been remedied.

While it does look better than the first iteration, this feels like a quick attempt to take unsold stock from the first Yamato Wonder Woman statue and put it to good use.

BBTS says they have received Poison Ivy. Anyone have any in-hand pics of how that one came out?

Damn those are nice picture desertdragon.... nice job.... Yeah I have her in my pile of loot at BBTS.com, I have a few more statues that get released this month and next so I'm just waiting for those to be released so I can save some money on shipping...

I love this DC line from Yamato..... IMO It's very original and sexy :)

Thanks dan350zr! I love this line too, and Ivy has that classic Royo grace and elegance - glad that she's on her way to you! I'm waiting on the reworked Royo Wonder Woman, which will hopefully show up in May or June.

thanks, desertdragon! Wow, Ivy came out a lot better than Wonder Woman did! Glad they learned from that statue. As far as the EE exclusive Wonder Woman goes, I just now found out about this. So I probably won't be able to get it. I do hope its more like the prototype than the original, though.

Yes I agree totally - Ivy is pretty much spot-on compared to the prototype, which I am very thankful for. The first edition Royo Wonder Woman still makes me cry... I am hoping the EE exclusive will be at least closer to the prototype, which was gorgeous. I will post pics of her as soon as she arrives!

Wow she looks good! I must resist as need to focus on 1/4 scale.... Although having her, Jim Lee version and gal gadot together in 1/6 scale, might look cool...

Edit: still looks nowhere near as good as the box art

They never do :( But I still like these non the less...

Dan350zr, Thanks for the pics, mate! Do you intend on keeping both? Haha

Question: Since the hands are put on by magnets, can you switch out the left hand and right hands and mix and match between statues?

For now I'm keeping both, I might sell off the regular version down the road, depends on how many DC characters Yamato releases, I might need to make room...

As for switching the arms between the regular and ex, I haven't tried but it looks like you can..

Other then the different skins tones, the biggest difference I see is the regular has bigger eyes then the exclusive.

As for size, they match up well with all my other 1/6 statues... So I don't think they're oversized at all.

Thanks, Dan! Definitely looks a lot nicer than the original. I just wish the EX had the original's skin tone!

Mine just showed up today... I have to say I was kind of dreading how she might turn out after the debacle of the first version. While she's still not quite matching the soft features of the prototype, I think the face on this version is definitely an improvement, and the flesh tones are definitely lighter on this version as well. Overall I think it's a beautiful piece, and I'm glad I waited to pick her up in this incarnation. Here are some studio shots - enjoy!
