I have a feeling Medicom isnt done yet and will reveal something big for one of the cons.

My predictions for SDCC Exclusives:

1. SW 1/6 Figure
2. The Dead 1/6 Figure
3. Spider-Man 3 Bust
4. LOTR Diorama
5. MediCom Imported Figure
6. Marvel Archive

That sounds about right... wonder if we will get another "Jabba" type fig this time around? Now that they have done it once everyone will be expecting something HUGE. :dunno

SDCC Predictions from me :-

1/6 SW
The Dead PF
1/6 Jason Voorhees (Part 5)
Spidey 3 bust
Medicom VCD
Marvel Diorama

I doubt we see a PF for an exclusive again. Why? That Luke was a mother to carry and do stuff with.

I think we'll see.

1/6 SW
Dead 1:6th
Medicom VCD
a Dio from either SW or LOTR
and a LOTR item. Maybe a Aragorn figure.

I was planning on getting Yavin Luke, but I pulled out at the last second.

He looks to be a fine figure with an excellent sculpt. But I've got so little room, and Yavin Luke was never on my list.

I am still going to pick up this figure because its Luke ... but the more I look at that Yavin Medal ... the larger it seems. Does it seem large to anyone else?

P.S. And, yes, this question of size and perspective after the pulling out remarks just make me feel so dirty .... eww ... :monkey3

As a matter of fact, it looks to me like the exact same medal that was used on the Han Solo PF, with a slightly shorter ribbon. Maybe that was just done for the prototype.

I doubt I'll diplay mine with the medal. But instead find a small stand for it to rest on like I did with Anakin's robotic arm. Another interesting note, is that his shirt appears to Han Solos but black. Shouldn't it be just a solid v-neck shirt???

As for the SDCC exlclusives...I'm hoping/guessing the Star Wars exclu. will be Endor Han Solo, all they'd need to make is a vest and color his shirt different.

I think the best way to go would be to have Yavin Ceremony Leia be the SDCC exclusive and have the exclusive ANH Han come with his Yavin stuff just like the PF. Finish the whole little scene to celebrate the 30th anniversary.

Well the Non-Attendee version has sold out... although I can't tell how long it actually took?

Also, not sure if this has been mentioned but it looks like the pictures on the website are of the actual production figure... not a prototype. At least they don't have the disclaimer in red and the paint apps look closer to what we usually see in hand.

Nope, Lukes shirt in the publicity stills (where the bulk of the costume comes from.. see the pleats on the pants) have it as an ESB style Solo shirt, black, but with the front in the V and the collar folded down.

Yeah I think you are right. It would make sense to continue the theme, although I could still see them making a Yavin Han the SDCC exclusive. Even an Endor one would work. I imagine it will be a variant one of the those three.

Whatever the exclusive is it will be something like SDCC Vader or C4 Luke. A cool exclusive but one that peope can be ok with it being an exclusive.

Being that the show is in a month I'd say it's the production.
This makes me think about how long it takes to produce a figure. They've obviously been working on Luke for a long time to have him ready for CIV...But we've known about Padme for a very long time (didn't we see the head sculpt last Summer?), and apparently she's not even ready to go up for pre-order.

Do you think she's ready, but they're just sitting on it until the right time?

Padme might be waiting on a female body upgrade.

Right, they are usually in the process 6-8 months I believe it was said. Could be longer but that's the number coming to mind right now. So I would say Luke's bee in the process for a bit. With Padme it was mentioned that they are working with the body and suit combo to look right and that was the hold up with her.
