sorry to post on your thread Vicious but noticed you were using elements of Ultimate Villain​

Ive got an ultimate villain (one of the first figures I bought before I knew what was what and paid too much money for it) and now Im trying to make it decent - ie lose the boxing gloves and change the helmet

As you can see Ive added SS maul gloves loosely (think the forearms need shortening) and now Im looking for a decent dome, mask and neck brace and just wondered if you could recommend one ?

Hi Mooncat! Thanks for the interest.
I'm really just a beginner at this stuff, so I trusted the Vader parts I gathered to Hurricane.
But I can surely recommend picking up a kaiyodo 1/6 kit (like the one I posted on the first page of his thread); the helmet and mask are just the most accurate you could get in 1/6 for now, in my opnion.

As for the neck brace, I recommend asking Hurricane, he is the Vader Oracle

While waiting for some more cool WIP pics by Hurricane, I thought I'd post some pictures of my WIP 1:1 Vader.
He isn't really accurate (ANH helmet, ESB armor etc..) but I just want a cool looking Vader, so he doesn't have to be über-accurate. I'm the only one who's a Star Wars fan in my family and circle of friends anyway, so..

Looks good thus far.. Need to fix that inner robe though. It goes over the cod, but under the belt.

Yeah, Shalamar is right. You'll have to use an x-acto knife or something to split up the UV belt from the cod...

update,: hands done, i had some DC direct batman bendy hands thatve had leatherette gauntlets made and attched, inner robe is original 14" talky hasbro vaders, chestboth has leatherette straps..........

upper mask detail, this is an ESB version and splits along a diferent line to the ROTJ, pics show the missing brow details added, plus a few steps on the paint work....
