YJ Studios - Ellie Williams

This garage kit of Ellie by YJ Studios arrived today. Even though she is not perfect likeness, it is the best lifesize Ellie I found. Will probably save also for Joel and maybe even for Sarah (discussed possibility of making her with YJ Studios).

From what I can tell that's her game model, however the hairstyle isn't right, it should fall past her ears on both sides of her face. Luckily it seems like you can easily fix that with a bit of styling and a brush.

Yeah, I did that. The hair was not very obedient so I placed some behind ear. Will have to play with it more.

She looks stunning in person.

Cannot wait to save enough for Joel.

Its quite scary, but I cant deny the craftmanship and work gone into it.

Ngl, I really liked the older design for Joel. Would have loved a 1/6 scale figure but the 1/12 by Lim is great. As impressive as it is, I can't imagine being able to collect too many of these busts given how large they are.

Got 1:6 from CC Toys. I think there are some more in the making (I think they named them Guitar player and dinosaur enthusiast - should be some topic deeper in this thread).

About the size - you are right. I had display case prepared for her, height was 57cm. She came and her height is 58cm. So I have to make a new glass display case - at least I will make it big enough to fit there also Joel in the future, who is 10 cm bigger (and maybe Sarah). But the display space is also limited - got lifesize Skeletor from Tweeterhead and he takes a lot of space too.
