At the time, I think what angered me most was that he got arrested. Once he was in the hands of the law, he was safe. If there had been just one person willing and able to take the guy down before police intervened, the kid would have received something resembling justice.

yeah but i bet that person would have gone to jail for years, would have been made a criminal and not a hero, seeing how retarded they were already

Man, ____ Canada for their cowardice in repealing the death penalty:

That crazy bastard should've been put to death after beheading the kid and eating pieces of him. But instead, now he's out and about regularly, with only a doctor and a single cop to monitor him. :monkey1

I'm not sure what it would cost us for death penalty vs life in prison here in Canada, i'd be all for the death penalty though..especially here in Toronto and places like Vancouver,Winnipeg etc.. when it comes to dealing with serious crimes such as the one you are discussing here.

I'm just glad gun violence is not totally out of control here yet, its getting bad though because of the amount of firearms smuggled in from the US.

I will say our justice system has some major flaws, it needs to adapt to the growing amount of serious crimes happening today(last 15yrs even) and give swift, harsh penalties to the ones guilty of these crimes.

That he was crazy.

(Well, no ____ he was crazy. :lol)

Personally, I don't consider insanity to be an exonerating factor.

I don't either. He would've enjoyed a night shot of sodium thiopental if he'd pulled that ____ here in CA.

As blackmask said, that person would be looking at a manslaughter charge. The system is flawed.

Though I'd imagine if they actually followed up with the death penalty instead of granting these _______s umpteen appeals, it would be considerably cheaper. That said, I also don't want a system like Texas where the governor never even looks at the case put before him.

this thief reall made me laugh

That leads me back to the cowardice of the other passengers. How hard would it be to back the guy up and testify that he had no other choice?

I don't understand people.

This stupid pendejo wanted to be like the Hulk and painted himself green with Military-grade paint that they use on missles and submarines. Now this guy can't get the paint off and is looking like a green fool. :lol

They'd ask him, "Why didn't you just get off the bus?" I've been in similar circumstances with fights and had cops ask stupid ____ like that, "You couldn't just walk away, or run away and call the police?" after I explained it was self defense. I get that they're just doing their job, but you just kinda wanna slap them for the stupid question. :lol

Personally, I would be happy to pay taxes to make a prison, full of heroes serving time on manslaughter charges for killing someone like this, a place similar to a resort in Cancun.
