If you buy collectibles just to "jump on the banwagon" then you will eventually get tired of them, and they will lose their luster......

When I buy a collectible, I usually go by my general rule of thumb..... "Buy it if you ABSOLUTELY love it"

If not, I just usually sell it off fairly soon after I bought it......

So to answer your question, NO. I don't get sick of them

Only when I have to pack up and move...which I've done a couple times in the past year.

Recently though, I find its the best time to be a collector. With the awesome stuff that Hot Toys and SS putting out, I find that stuff I collected years ago really pales in comparison to what is being produced today.

Sometimes I get buyer's remorse, but I've yet to sell any of my stuff. Who knows, I could easily see myself getting out of collecting eventually. But for now, as a slightly irresponsible college student, I see nothing better to spend my money on. :D

Nope. I have three things I sorta regret buying. Only one of the three I truly regret. Another one (Grievous PF) I only regret becuase he just takes up way too much space. And the final one (Color LAM) I regret the least, and only because he's the color version instead of the SSE like Frank and Drac. I got a great deal on him (only 100 dollars) so it seemed worth getting him in color, but now I would have preferred to pay more and get the SSE. So I'm not sure that really counts as a regret.

Nopes, The only thing I regret is not getting into Statues Earlier then I would already have a few of my Grails at actual cost and not at a Inflated cost

Threads like this one makes me sick!

I keed. Well, I started last year but I'm getting there....but then I usually give some away then buy more!:monkey4

What is the one you regret the most?

I regret it so much I don't even like to admit I bought it. :lol It's the Gentle Giant Obi-Wan in Clone Armor statue. AKA Ugly-Wan.

:lol My Grandma has a bunch as well. She paid good money for some of them, but she doesn't seem to regret it. I used to go "hunting" with her so maybe spending the quality time together made it all worth it in the end.

The only time I got sick of my collectibles was during my toy collecting days 10 years ago. Since I started getting into high end collectibles, I'm more cautious as far as what I bring into my household. Sure there are some pieces that I could live without, but I don't have any buyers remorse for these items because I pick and choose what I want.

I used to stand in lines for the stupid things! I'll probably end up donating them to some children's organization except for the first dozen or so that I bought. Those are still worth alittle more than what I paid for them. All other ones are pretty much worthless so trying to sell them on eBay wouldn't be worth the fees.

You ever get sick of your collectibles and have buyer's remorse for having invested as much time and money into this stuff as we do? Just curious.:monkey3

I can not even imagine the very idea of this. What kind of a mind comes up with depravity like this.
