You think you're behind? I've only watched 3 of the 26 films that I had lined up from all of the Universal Legacy collections. I guess I'm going to scrap that idea and save it for next year, because I've just been free forming the viewing with whatever is available on AMC, Chiller, and Elvira of late.

Finally saw NEAR DARK for the first time. Rented the Blu-Ray through Netflix. I thought it was rather boring up until Adrian Pasdar got grabbed in the Winnebago. Then it just got darker and darker. While I originally laughed at the ALIENS reunion going on, I quickly realized just how scary Lance Henriksen and Bill Paxton can be when given the right material. Even Jenny Wright showed some range (I personally find her performances paper-thin).

And that bar scene! Damn!!!

Only stumbling point IMO was
the transfusion concept. Unless it was only a temporary fix that was needed every night or two.
They never really specified that.

Near Dark

A great film that I only recently discovered through this board. I like it a lot and have considered upgrading to the bluray because it is always on sale at my Fry's.

Once again, my movie plans were foiled. And tonight I may not get one in either. I did squeeze in Halloween 4. And before that I watched Tremors. I watched that during the day. It seems like a during the day kind of film.

Anyways, If I can get one in tonight, yay. I think it will have to be my last night because during spook, I can't really focus on movies. We shall see....

This year my movie time is so limited I wasn't able to watch much. I've only gotten through Evil Dead, Nightmare on Elm Street (remake and o.g.), Friday the 13th 1-3 plus remake, Halloween 1-2 (remakes and originals), Monster Squad, House of a 1000 Corpses, Pet Cemetary... and I think that is it. And that has taken me all month. :lol

I will probably be able to get in another couple before Halloween, but I have a really busy week so it won't be much.

Watching Scream right now. My wife just informed me that I say "OMG! Is that Cereal Killer?!?" and check IMDB every time we watch it. :slap:lol
