So far I've seen Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (31), Nosferatu (Which I've been wanting to see for a few years), Splice (not bad, but a bit cliched).

Coming up are the Ghoul, Cat People (42), The Leopard Man, The Devil Doll, Isle of the Dead, Frankenstein Created Woman, Videodrome, and The Crazies (2010) which premieres on Starz this Saturday.

I'm pretty much just sticking to cable and with the exception of Videodrome, what I haven't seen yet.

So how many here managed to reach their movie marathon goals? For me, I succeeded in watching 36 movies plus It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (utter crap IMO) in October, and that's with skipping a few days.

It was an interesting experience. I got the opportunity to watch movies that I'd either never heard of before or had been wanting to see for a long time. I found some real gems such as Creepshow and Them (French predecessor of The Strangers), and I found some real stinkers like The Gravedancers and Creepshow 2. I got to revisit some older movies from my youth like Deadly Friend, which is still cheesy good fun.

I doubt I'll do this again next year though because it did become a very daunting exercise, but even if it's to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, I'm very happy I did it.

Anyone else have some closing thoughts on their personal 2010 horror movie marathons?

So all in all, this year I watched...

Friday Part 2

Nightmare on Elm Street 4

Trick 'r Treat to finish off the night. Great horror fest! :D

A little late, but I ended up having to watch Titanic on Halloween :( pretty much whatever the girlfriend says goes lol though I did watch alien and aliens on blu ray the night before so I guess that makes up for it :D

Time to get a new girlfriend.

lol as much as I hated watching Titanic that night I could never get rid of her! To make it up to me she did record the pilot of The Walking Dead since I was gonna miss it :clap

October is over. November is historically LOTR for me. I'm planning to watch all three extended editions back to back in one day, for the first time, next Friday. Truly looking forward to it as I have a friend coming over for the viewing who has never seen any of these films.

A real girlfriend would've watched it with ya and saved the other 364 days for the 2nd biggest lame cash cow in box office history.

Series Premiere > 10 Year Old Crap

Maybe she can also record your balls so you have something to remember them by.
