I'm very excited! With 30 movies down, I'm going into my final seven movies starting tonight. I pushed most of my favorites toward the end of the month so that the outdoor weather here in Pennsylvania would have a more autumn feel when I watched these:

Tonight's movie is THE WRAITH, a long-time favorite of mine since I was a kid.

Good thing I burned through so many movies already though because I'll be sharing my time this week between horror movies and Rock Band 3.

The original's pace was a little slow for my liking. As much as people talk badly about the 2005 remake, I still like it a little better than the original.

Same here. I actually really enjoyed the remake. One of the better platinum dunes remakes, along with Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I easily seen this film over 100 times. Skank, Gutterboy, Rughead and Sheriff named "LOOMIS"..what's not to like?

I really wanna watch this movie now...you got me excited.

Just finished watching it.

Thankfully, Lionsgate released a widescreen version of the "uncut" edition (which oddly enough is still PG-13 despite more graphic violence and several shots of women topless). Last year, I was stuck with that awful full frame bargain bin version that looked like it'd been mastered from an old VHS copy.

Terrific and terrifying movie! I considered putting it on the list, but the last three minutes completely negated it as a "horror" or "Halloween-time" movie for me. Too poignant.
