Its amazing. It had the same effect that Halloween did with Carpenter's score imo.

Totally agree. I highly recommend the 2 disc set for The Shining. And I don't think Carpenter gets enough recognition as a composer. I love the soundtrack for Escape from New York too.

Back to WTF moments- All of Eraserhead. But especially this scene:

Yeah Ecape had an awesome score too. Hell all of his movie have the same intense feel to them. I heard in an interview (off topic) that he was roomates with the writer of Alien. Great talent seems to come in bunches. Coppola, Lucas and Spielberg all had a company together (American Zoetrope) in the 70's. All friends before famous too.

Maglor, awesome WTF pick, Usual Suspects is ef'n amazing!

No dead babies, just incredibly weird and disturbing. You can watch the whole thing on YouTube. The first 5 minutes will freak out most people.

1. Pulp Fiction - Marvin's death

2. Haute Tension - The end of the movie ruined the whole thing for me

3. Fight Club - "We've just lost cabin pressure" moment of realization

The ENTIRE Mullholland Drive movie. I finally made it all the way through it yesterday. Seriously WTF? :rotfl

Samuel L.'s big speech in that crappy Shark movie from years ago. I was not expecting that. :lol

This was on last night "Deep Blue Sea" and yes I totally agree. I saw this years ago and had forgotten about that scene. Yeah... so much for the hero speech...It was quite violent too, Grabbed, slammed on the deck and then share with a friend :lol
