Interesting, I was just thinking how I was bummed I didn't buy a few of the films I have on DVD on BluRay instead; and now it looks like none of them were released on BluRay (Robin Hood, Jungle Book, Sword in the Stone, etc.).
Wonder why... is there not enough difference between how it would look to warrant the release? Or just not popular enough?
It's Disney. I think they release a movie and then put it back in the vault for about 5 years and then re-release them. Every Feb.-Mar. and Oct. they release a classic. Next one is Beauty And The Beast and next year i think it's Fantasia (it was supposed to come out this year but got bumped).
Surprisingly, animation looks awesome in HD. I'll buy every Disney animated feature that isn't a direct-to-video movie.

2.And Dumbo was supposed to be released this year, but got pushed until next year. Thank goodness I have the Mexican Blu-ray to keep my occupied.
2. Surprised that denmark isnt a complete fail and i got my copy of Dumbo But damn! denmark sucks :emperor
Come to the US. We're all kinds of cool.
One of my favorite movies/Blu-Rays I own! Like you I was amazed at the clarity of the picture, it looked as though it was a movie that was recently made.I mentioned a week or so ago that I picked up the Thing ($10 someplace...Best Buy?) and I got a chance to check it out this weekend. Amazingly sharp, clear picture, and terrific immersive sound. Very impressed with how good they did with a movie this old - recommend it!
I think you are correct, it's 10 years.I thought they put the movies in the vault for 10 years... I seem to remember reading something a while back which said that
Even Ski-spam

Oh well, I guess if Alice In Wonderland won't be released again for 10 years I might as well get the DVD
Damn - I just realized I have $105 in unused Reward Zone certificates. I'm goin' shopping!
Hopefully none have expired because they won't cut you slack on that! I have to spend mine pretty much right away because I tend to forget I have them.
