Well, I must check it out then :rock
You should man, my brother thought the same thing before, I let him borrow it and he really liked it.

Where does your Amazon stuff ship from?
Don't remember exactly, but it's real close. The tracking said 3 Days when it shipped and I had it the next day. Hopefully I'll have Back to the Future and the Aliens box set by Saturday!

I ordered Predators from Fox Connect for $18 shipped with their email sign up code. Cheapest I'd seen it, so I pulled the trigger. Hopefully it will ship tomorrow!

Got these in today!

The Evil Dead was the 2 disc version!!! :rock I think they must of gone back and produced more.

I've never ordered from play.com. There's no problems shipping to the US?

Also, If you check Best Buy's weekly ad, there is a number you can text to that will give you code so you can save $3 on Predators. They text messaged the code to me today.

Just found out that Play.com is shorting some of their Predators Steelbook orders due to supply. I might not get my copy.

Got one on order as well :panic: Just cut some of the steelbook fanatics orders in half and there's plenty for the rest of us. Some of them order 3+ and keep them sealed in there collection. They just have to make due with one or two instead :lol

I have a question for those who have it. I'm wanting to pick up the original Predator on Blu ray but I read the picture quailty isn't that great. Should I just stick with the DVD version or is the blu ray version worth picking up particularly the Ultimate Hunter Ed.

go for the hunters edition. picture quality is great.

Good to know. I read the picture quality on one of the BR's wasn't very good and I wasnt sure if it was the standard vers or UHE or both.

The picture quality on the Hunter Edition is good, but the problem for some is ITS TOO GOOD!

To purists, the picture looks to waxy and cleaned up, whereas the original was meant to be a little bit choppy and grainy.

So if you're a purist, no problem, grab the older edition on blu ray. However, I recommend the new Hunter Edition. Yes, there are screen shots online that try to sell how horrible the new quality is, but all the rest of the shots look AMAZING! especially the jungle shots! You can see the sweat on the character's faces.

Don't like the Hunter Version, Arnie hadn't had his facelift back then. :monkey1

The Hunter version isn't as bad as the DNR haters make out. There are scenes where they went nuts with it that bug me, but overall it's an improvement over the original blu release.
