I ordered Predators from Fox Connect for $18 shipped with their email sign up code. Cheapest I'd seen it, so I pulled the trigger. Hopefully it will ship tomorrow!

Got mine this way. Hope it comes in by Friday

The picture quality on the Hunter Edition is good, but the problem for some is ITS TOO GOOD!

To purists, the picture looks to waxy and cleaned up, whereas the original was meant to be a little bit choppy and grainy.

So if you're a purist, no problem, grab the older edition on blu ray. However, I recommend the new Hunter Edition. Yes, there are screen shots online that try to sell how horrible the new quality is, but all the rest of the shots look AMAZING! especially the jungle shots! You can see the sweat on the character's faces.

The Hunter version isn't as bad as the DNR haters make out. There are scenes where they went nuts with it that bug me, but overall it's an improvement over the original blu release.

I think if i can find it cheap </= $10 I would try it.

So Predators is a good one, yes/no? Ill says so, and he and I like a lot of the same movies. So that's good enough for me! It'll be my first blind buy in a while, that's why I'm asking.
Plus I also got the $3 text code from Best Buy.

It's a good movie, better then Predator 2.

Picked up a closeout price Blu of Final Fantasy Advent Children. Great eye candy but no story. Actually it has lots of story, but you had to play FFVII in order to care or understand. Since I did not play FFVII this did not work as a self contained film. It looked amazing, I'll give it that.

I used to hate Predator 2, but it has a late-80s vibe about it, so it's all good now.

Got one on order as well Just cut some of the steelbook fanatics orders in half and there's plenty for the rest of us. Some of them order 3+ and keep them sealed in there collection. They just have to make due with one or two instead

Yes and no. Many people order multiples so they can resell them for a profit on Ebay. In my case there was a group buy that had a bulk order that basically saved everyone about $8 per copy. I'd like to get a Steelbook, but I'm not spending $45+ for this movie.

The opening scene where Dutch meets with the General and Dillon disagrees. They're all glowing and look like they have spray tans. Carl Weathers looks like he's covered in baby oil or something.

Nothing wrong with that. Before the AvP movies everyone thought Predator 2 was absolute garbage. Now that we've been given worse, Predator 2 is 4 star material. (I actually like all of them)
