I got Batman Returns on blu-ray for $10 at Wal-Mart. I've never seen it, but I've been wanting to. I figured renting it would only be a few bucks cheaper, so I just went ahead and bought it.

you've never seen Batman Returns?? Wow, that's a first. I can remember seeing it when I was 4 years old, but only walking out of the theatre with the credits and music rolling . It's a great film if you like Tim Burton's movies.

I got a respond after writing and Sarah from DVD-Z said that I should pls wait 21 days and that they now had the problem a few times, that germans did wait longer because of darn slow customs department.
If nothing´s arrived in 21 days I should write her and get my money back.

I have read very little about it but it has been positive. The prints were badly stored so they won't look pristine but they can't be worse then the DVD, right?

Picked up Pilgrim and Memento Steelbook this week!

There is nothing really wrong or bad about the Blu ray transfer of Pilgrim. It's just that yeah maybe it doesn't scream Hi-Def like it could. I'm wondering now if it's just because of the film itself and how they made. It's a bit on the soft side, but I think the filmakers intended to have a lo-fi kinda look. Still got a 4.5 on blu-ray.com

But AWESOME movie!! Made for the gamer generation for sure. Video games, music, comedy, relationships. Pretty cool movie. One of my fave of the whole year. This movie and Inception.

I feel you. I understand the macro blocking they used but, there were many reviewers that saw it in the theater and on blu and found it lacked the punch it had in theaters. Very odd.
