Yep, most people get addicted to what everyone else thinks is cool. Be honest, would you even care if other people didn't say "OH COOL!" about steel cases?
It's like "grail" pieces when collecting. Many only want them so they can show them off. Half the time the person probably doesn't even like the character that much, but because it's a "grail" they want to be able to say "look what I have"
Trust me, this isn't a slam on YOU at all. Just the whole "keeping up with the Jones" attitude as a whole.

It's a good movie. It has some really good laughs and cool action. I'd recommend it for sure.

I never got into steel cases for myself. I have bought a few just to resell. I sold the Snow White and Up cases for $30.00 each and they were free.
Those are the only ones I get. I won't pay extra for them. They'd have to be unusual in some way for me to get one. And I won't pay more to get an import.
Nothing wrong with collecting them though. We all collect something on here. I always love having a slipcover on mine. And I also like exclusives.

Judging by the age restriction sticker it's a German version... Might have to make a quick trip across the border then if they don't release it here...

Sorry, should've specified. Yes it's a German disc. The link takes you to Amazon Germany. I'm looking forward to seeing the different offerings for this movie.

I keep the slip covers if it comes with one. I don't really go out of my way looking for them though. Come to think of I don't really think I've seen one with and one without sitting next to each other on a shelf. I just grab the movie I'm looking for and never really noticed if there were two different types of packaging.
