I have no plans to buy it on blu.
 
Not sure if anyone knows, or even cares, but Hook was announced for a Blu Ray release for November 1.

I watched Iron Giant recently on HD Net Movies. WB really needs to get this out on Blu-ray. It looked amazing.
 
Debating picking up both Saving Private Ryan and Gladiator blu-rays. Both are $14.99 at amazon right now.

I had them both previously and sold them. I'm now trying to limit myself to movies that I would actually watch multiple times. It has cut down on quite a few purchases.

But I will and have watched Saving Private Ryan and Gladiator multiple times so those won't leave. :pfft:

yep...my movie buying has pretty much stopped because of this same reasoning

I do agree, those are 2 great flicks that will always be in my collection
